Just admit you guys are rubbish against spin' date='similar scenario will unfold in the tests.[/quote'] If you say so. Cricket's a pretty new interest for me. Not much evidence of grace in victory on this board though! Is that something that exists only in Rugby?

India was always going to be hard to beat at home and england record in india is horrible,so no suprises ,This will hide our mistakes in planning and selecition till australia,But same thing will happen in australia if preparation and selection are not right.

Ask people on ICF, you will know how doubtful they before the series. Many were not giving a 3-2 series to India let alone a clean sweep. It was serious performance through out the series by all the players to win it 5-0. The X-factor was the fielding.

:haha::haha::haha:

When the England Cricket Board scheduled this tour, they probably were not aware of the fact that white washing was a common thing in India prior to Diwali. Happy Diwali to the English Cricket Team.

I hope now BCCI doesn't go overboard and squeeze another series with NZ or SL before Aussie tour...and for heaven's sake please use B side for the WI series. Prepare well for Aus series because that is what will count in the end....and that will be the time to tell folks like Tony Grieg to STFU !!!

Yes most people would have had doubts but that has happened a lot in indian cricket after a terrible tour abroad we have always bounced back at home and england record in india is horrible, under dhoni we have struggled away from home which is the problem.

HereÃÔ an incredible stat We have lost just a single ODI at home in the last one year! In that time, we beat New Zealand 5-0 with a 2nd string team, won the world cup and whooped England without Yuvraj and Sehwag! :hail: Its pretty amazing how invincible we seemed to have become at home in ODIs. It doesnÃÕ matter what team we are fielding anymore. And the reason for that couldnÃÕ be more clearer FIELDING. Its safe to say that with Raina, Kohli, Jadeja, Rahane, Dhoni and the athletic quicks, this is certainly our best fielding unit ever. We have always had a strong batting unit at home, but the difference maker in the last 12 months has been fielding. Rewind the clock back to the world cup and it was inclusion of Raina for the knock-out games that really boosted our fielding and helped us win the cup.

ODI revenge is complete. Next stop, T20 revenge. And then, test revenge next year. I don't think we'll be able to whitewash them but as long as we win the series without letting them win a single test match it's essentially the same.
