We dont have guns here in rhe ground but we have speed guns in indoor nets here where one can bowl with good 10-12 steps of runup. I have clicked 128 on that n m sure I click 132-134 with my long runup in a ground during club matches. My run up is bit like Akhtar n bowling action is exactly like Jeff Thomson(check my signature for his action in YouTube) n Malinga.
Woahh even more slingly than mine. Yeah I am aware of Thommo. Mine is like Fidel's.

I don't know Serani but why you think guys who are playing Club cricket, FC cricket, and international cricket can only clock fast. Other guys may not be genuine quick, but clocking 75-80 mph is not a big thing. Even Dhoni clocks that who is a WK/bat. Big thing is clocking 85 mph. Most guys who can bowl with good balanced action and has bowled somewhere like in college if not for club can clock 75 mph easily. Because to clock 75-80 mph, you do not need any special thing in you. If you need any then it is to clock 90 mph that is why 90 mph bowlers are rare. In my club, most fast bowlers will be clocking that speed easily and one guy I am sure can certainly clock 85 mph though not measured on speed guns yet, but he is certainly fast and the fastest bowler in the state capital region, but lack of exposure in our area has not helped him go ahead as our state do not have any Ranji Trophy team yet. People here play cricket just to get national certificates to get government jobs in sports quota by playing U17, U19, and university cricket.

Seriously I have played with and against some of the brightest talents in english cricket at 16,17 and they clock between 75-80 and are absolute wheels. People have no idea about speed unless they actually play the game to a decent standard. In your club you have every bowler above 75 MPH yet the India national team usually has 2 bowlers in the 75-80 mph range, you have no idea what you are talking about. Im sure if I came to your club and bowled you would say i was in the 80's but im nowhere near.

:gossip: bhai pagla gaye ho ? I faced 80mph on a batting machine (baseball) once, and left with my pants wet. Couldn't touch a single ball.
During school days (at the age of 15-16), I played against few bowlers who could bowl around 80 mph. There was a 27-28 year old left arm seamer who used to bowl full length deliveries at us and we always struggled to do anything. Only one of my friend who was best batsman among us, could survive his bowling. International players make 80 mph bowling look like nothing.

Around 125 kmph (78 mph) are probably the quickest bowling speeds, one can expect to encounter at club level. Most of the quick club level bowlers are around the 120 kmph (75 mph) mark. LOL @ people claiming to just walk up and be able to bowl 130-134 kmph.
