rkt.india
I said this before...He is decent for LOI...Still garbage though He is decent in ODIs for first 4-5 overs, not in T20. He would have been thrashed as much as any. Link to comment
gaurav92
No Vinay Kumar please :(( Link to comment
Cabinet96
Pace is so overrated when it's as hittable as what Dinda bowled last night. I'd rather England played against him than Vinay Kumar any day. Link to comment

Definetely has potential in that format and has had enough exposure at this level too,it will be a waste if we give up on him in these formats now and try too many rookies in his place. cowboysfan
not sure why they picked him in this tour, this tour should have all newbies and used as a evaluation tool. Link to comment

G_B_
The thing is Vinay bowled well up front. He has always been a failure as a death overs bowler. I think he conceded 12 runs in his first 5 overs and 45 in his final 4. IMO Kohli cannot leave Vinay for the death overs. Finish his quota off in the first 30 overs. He will give you a much better performance. Leave Sir and Unadkat for the death. In that sense Vinay is similar to Praveen kumar. Great up front and **** at the death Link to comment

Not an out and out tailender. He also adds variety with the ball being a leg spinner. He is not a good fielder i agree. But still deserves a chance. Is 30 and easily play for another 4-5 years. I am sure Rasool too will get his chance, but he will replace Sir as the all rounder. Vinay was the leading wicket taker in the IPL. Deserved his chance. Has better ODI stats than Umesh. I am sure Mohit will be given a chance in this series as well. Link to comment
jalebi_bhai
Absolute rubbish at the death.......If you're gonna bowl him......bowl him upfront...... Link to comment
G_B_
hmm i doubt Kohli will do that. Vinay was his goto bowler at the death in the IPL. Problem is he becomes just too predictable at the death. I fear under Kohli we are going to be a RCB bowling line up with Bhuvi added. Link to comment

I hope Mohit does it i am not too sure about Mohit at the death either. From what i have seen in the IPL MSD used him up front and he rarely bowled at the death. I would actually keep 3 Bhuvi overs for the death. He is not that bad a bowler. As things stand Ishant seems to be our death overs bowler along with Sir. So Vinay can bowl out his quota before overs 35. In case of Mohit, i remember him being smashed around by the English batsman at the death for a List A game for India A v England in India. It was on skysports highlights earlier this year. Link to comment
