playing two among the more gentle ,medium pacers will prove costly.its dumb strategy. england had a field day in the 2011 series in England.praveen will trouble a bit in the first 8 overs and the rest 42 overs the opposition had a jolly good time .even Bangladesh thrashed irfan and co in the asia cup. only one among them has to, play if at all.since bhuvi is in prime form the rest are not needed. the problem is with the captain's strategic sense.long term he is bad for indian cricket if he keeps relying on batsmen and spinners on suitable wickets to win matches. he has to communicate a vision to get better pace bowlers who can knock down the best batsmen. and vinay is proving this decade's parasite for indian ODI cricket.last decade it was dinesh mongia who was continually picked until 2008 on and off.these guys do not have it in them for long lasting international success.just give up on them sooner.

Selectors and bowling coach as well as head coach are oblivious of our weakness , we need impact bowlers, we have the worlds best batting line up and bowlers picked up are worse then Bangladesh, selectors haven't even looked at Anwar Ahmed, Suyal, Pankaj, Shukla,Aniket. Instead are hell bent on creating a trundler army, also the above mentioned players have performed well, it is embarrassing.

Tall, deck hitting pacers are difficult to score against if they can maintain good line and length. Unadkat fits the bill somewhat and can be given a go in the next match. What has been his pace range in recent times ?

Vinay Kumar was thrashed by Zimbabwe in last series, could not get wicket on seaming tracks of Harare and was dropped for Mohit Sharma in 4th match and here he is again picked just because he picked few wickets in challengers batsmen slogging him.

This mofo plays most of his cricket on Mysore pitch which is considered to be the fastest and conducive for pace bowling in India and picks lot of wickets to top domestic charts. Hence he s been picked again and again despite being a **** bowler in international matches.

I hope so diga,mishra Ji is more potent than padauda on spinning tracks with his variety ,he may go for 50-55 runs but will still pick atleast 2-3 wickets.

What should be the objective while picking pacers for India ? Those who can be really good bowlers at international level or those who are hardworking but mediocre ? Do you think Vinay, a short pacer bowling around 127 k without any great ability to swing the ball, can be a really good pacer at international level ?
