Precambrian Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 What'd he average??? Against the best bowling team he averaged nearly 60 in Australia. Imagine if he was an Australian, he'd be playing more than half of his game in Australia, during the 90s and 00s with Aus at their peak. And not having to face that attack and actually much mediocre attacks. Flat pitches. Strong batting lineups. I guess he'd be averaging in the lower 60s..
zep1706 Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 He would still suck in the 4th innings though :P
MCcricket Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 He would've not been given out shoulder before wicket, also might've had better average in Australia as we all know their umpiring , before neutral umpiring became the norm,he would've probably been more successfull and mightve had a smaller slump in form compared to when he lost form for India and his normal game. They would've proclaimed him the best batsmen ever above Bradman,or probably he would'nt have been selected as their selections were based on color until very recently when Khwaja, and some mixed race players made an entry.
Magneto Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 He would have averaged 99.95 against India.
