Karan114 Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Comment on that article Chris Stiegler (San Diego) 10 mins ago (11:11 PM) As an Aussie who has had to endure some of the most mindless commentary and opinions from Indians this is so very sweet. One player alone effectively beat your entire team of prima donna's. Sure you'll put in a good effort every now and then and you might even have a brief period at the top, but you need to have some intestinal fortitude to maintain a status as best in the world for longer than a decade and then re build to get back so quickly. You can call us cheats and rascists all you like (you're just as bad), but we'll pretty much always have your measure at this game. How does that feel? A country of only 20 million (smaller than some of your cities) spanking you at a sport which is a religion to you and pretty much a summer past time to us. Embarrassing huh? Can't even argue with it :((
BeautifulGame Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 LMAO reading comments from articles and getting worked over :hysterical:
Lord Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 that pic indicates how serious they r about this.no wonder we lost it on 4th day at MCG
BERGKAMP Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 i like the intense hatred a lot of aussies and english have for india now that they have won a couple of trophies and dared to become number 1, albeit for a relatively short period of time. before when we only used to win a few matches here and there and were languishing around the middle of the rankings it was all nice nice, but the true character of these people come out when you threaten to take their place at the top.
BERGKAMP Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Gavaskar was fuming in that show on NDTV. what a 2 faced slimeball. while he was under contract with the bcci for the past few years he was quite happy brown nosing them and spreading their propaganda without a care in the world. now that their is tension and contract conflicts between the 2 and he has turned into an angry little man who doesn't care who he offends.

It's better that a legend rips into them. They need to be told by someone.
CG Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Gavaskar-India Team is not on a Holiday. Gavaskar reacting to dhonis statement on needing a break for 3-4 days and staying away from cricket .Gavaskar said india team is not on a holiday and sightseeing tour of australia, that they need to take cricket off there minds They should be working even harder as perth is australia fastest pitch.
vamos_rafa Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 When things go well, then everything seems merry. When things don't go your way, then whatever you say or do, it goes against you. Having said that, I rememeber the last time when we toured the Oz and lost the first 2 tests, we really worked hard for the Perth test. Let's see what happens this time around.
Shunya Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 give him a break... enough of the flak he has got... instead of sacking the captain ...start with the seniors and unfit players calling it off...let the younger players play and lose ...it will jus create a good New Team like ODIs

vamos_rafa Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Sidney 2008 is different than Sidney 2011 :winky: Yes, we played good cricket and still lost. Here we were deserving losers
bulbul Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Yes' date=' we played good cricket and still lost. Here we were deserving losers[/quote'] its not about win or Loss...The Events happened there...it affects both teams but this time the only event happened is Finger Selute
Nova Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Some players deal with a loss differently. Dhoni will recharge his batteries after some quality time with his wife.
J P K Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 UcxVNpuYEFc&feature=player_embedded blame srk too :protest:
bulbul Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 It's better that a legend rips into them. They need to be told by someone. Kapil dev doing this for long time... BCCi is thick skinned they dont care...frankly speaking 2 moe months even Fans dont care

vamos_rafa Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Why blame M..unfortunately it's the team slump.....it'll be alright soon :two_thumbs_up: +1
rkt.india Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Why blame M..unfortunately it's the team slump.....it'll be alright soon :two_thumbs_up: Problem is Dhoni has become very laid back off late in his approach. He is the captain but he is not doing captaincy at all. He is just standing behind and letting the things go. He applied defensive filed but still cannot stop them scoring over 4 an over. Runs can only be stopped when you take wickets.
adi B Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Dhoni is still the best wicketkeeper batsmen in the country's history. He should be more aggressive in his fields. I think dropping him as captain would be a good idea. Make someone that only plays tests the captain of the test team and thats all they have to worry about. He is great for T20 and ODIs as he is one easily the best captain in the world in that sphere. Last great match I saw him captain was against Australia in the world cup. - So many slips in place at vital junctures. - Overs from Sachin and Kohli - Dropping Pathan at his home ground - Ashwin opens the bowling - Bhajji bowling 50th over That was an aggressive captain that went for the win and we need him back. that was an odi m8, in tests he no1 else can do worse than him
