Certain changes will take place for sure. Not everyone. Some knew it right after the SA tour that disaster was looming. The mass euphoria over the world cup & the ridiculous rankings drowned out the foretellers of doom.

We the fans are at fault as much as the corrupt BCCI, we need to make a stand now, Indian cricket is a disgrace and a laughing stock around the world, but the BCCI does not care.
Bradman99 Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 I dunno, England forgot about the 2006-2007 Ashes demoltion of 5-0 very, very quickly once they won them back in 2009. I think it's different for India though, we all know how well they play at home, the litmus test is performing overseas. There can't be much satisfaction in beating up on the Bangas and Zimbos on dustbowls at home when you consistently lose by an innings every match away from India. I don't think they forgot about it, it would have still been fresh in their memory I'm sure.

Then, although the personels dinn; change, but there were a few changes around the leadership and the support staff. Hopefully, this time, some harsh decisions would be taken.
Hell Raiser Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 I hope some changes are made and we give chance to our youngsters rather than hanging on to the legends as they have failed to perform in last 7 matches away from home. Don't want them to score runs on flat pitches of India and then retire when time comes to play away games. Performance should be the criteria not your stature in international cricket.

BeautifulGame Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Ofcourse most will move on the next series.At the end of the day cricket is a sport which is for entertainment which means enjoyment.Being realist what is the point of clinging onto lost series in the past rather than looking towards to the present and future.There are lot more important things in life to get worked up and being disconsolate a few bad memories in the past. And either way what does it matter whether we remember or forgot it? It is upto BCCI to rectify the issues starting with retiring our seniors.Whether we remember or forget these losses isnt going to change BCCI thought process its upto them to take actions.

But eventually, if the team will keep losing, BCCI will have to pay the price for taking the cricket lovers of this country for granted. I am sure even during the current Aussie test series many Indians would have switched off their TVs. Lower TRP means less commercial profits. BCCI with its apathy is killing the goose with the golden eggs.

The bowling is beyond a joke - even 4 overs is too much for the trundlers to maintain any discipline. With the current selectors, captain and coach there is no hope.
