asterix Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Not atleast on these road like pitches... You need bowlers who mixes a lot. Balaji would've been excellent on these tracks...
Cricketics Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Lol. He's perhaps the only Indian bowler who actually deserves to be in the team. Most consistent and one bowler from whom I always have hope.
rkt.india Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Lol. He's perhaps the only Indian bowler who actually deserves to be in the team. Most consistent and one bowler from whom I always have hope. Most consistent. :giggle: He is the most inconsistent bowler for a long time now and bowl them short, wide down leg, off side on pads at 125K of pace. One do not get an average of 66 being consistent in India. It is just a perception that he is consistent, economical, and takes wickets. Dhoni also lives in same delusion. He may bowl first 4 overs for 20 but then last 6 overs for 45-50.
vishalvirsingh Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Its better to field with 10 players on the field as Munaf"s fielding skills are worse than Mine- He gets a 0 on 10 in fielding and Ashwin gets a 3 on 10 where as Raina gets a 10 on 10 , Virat and Jafeja a 9 on 10 Rohit scores 8 even Sachin gets a 3.5 Gauti a 4 on 10 Sehwag a 4 , Dinda a 7, Umesh a 9, VK a 8.5, PK a 4, VVS a 3.5 , Ishant a 5, Bhajji a 8,Rahane a 8, Dhoni a 6, Saha a 8. Just Notice most of our players are good fielders and one of them Raina can make a Jhonty feel Proud....that's why I have given him a perfect 10- possibly I have not seen a better fielder than him. He enjoys his fielding and I like his attitude. In today"s world where Indian fielding which was always a Pain point is coming close to Australian and english fielding- we can never play a sub standard fielder Called Munaf and push your fielding standards down the Drain.......Sorry its better to get a bowler who gives 5 runs more than a fielder who becomes a pain in captains view and he is always looking to hide him. Even a Fatwin is enough to Hide- can't afford a Munaf. Manoj tiwary is a 9 on 10 fielder - he is superb.
vishalvirsingh Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Do you guys know Jadeja , dhoni"s Favourite aLl rounder is what- A brilliant fielder( 9 on 10) An average spinner A useless batter- dhoni calls him all rounder
Vijy Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 When Munna bhai returns from India and if Zaheer is fit enough, these two should walk into the team. The third pacer should be Irfan, if only for his better fielding and batting skills. VK can be the reserve.
Cricket Tragic Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Most consistent. :giggle: He is the most inconsistent bowler for a long time now and bowl them short' date=' wide down leg, off side on pads at 125K of pace. rkt.india Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Consistently bad. :dontknow: Average of 36, SR of 42 after 68 ODIs, 77 wickets. He is no better than Sreesanth. If you see at home 19 matches 13 wickets average 62 and I dont see him improve much from this point. Compare this to Ishant's ODI career, 47 matches 64 wickets, average 32, SR 33 and he is still out while Praveen plays as our lead bowler, what delusional perceptions. SR of 33 which Ishant has, is a very good SR for any bowler. Ishant at home 9 matches 12 wickets average 36, still better than PK.
AAAA Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 Ishant Sharma is a joke, for too long people have made excuses for him there is no way he should be still playing for India a very ordinary bowler.

I would rather have ishant in the team as he has got his pace back and will be useful.

Yes, regarding Sreesanth, his economy is too high, around 6.50, which goes against him, while PK 5.13 and Ishant 5.72. But Sreesanth and Ishant are better wicket takers.
Lord Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 is Munaf fit?why is he excluded?also Nehra was doing better

PK can only swing the ball with a new one or on a green track...that too not more than 133 clix
rkt.india Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 is Munaf fit?why is he excluded?also Nehra was doing better Kab tak Nehara pe depend rahenge. He is not future, Munaf can come but will need to bring some new fresh bowlers.
Cricket Tragic Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 is Munaf fit?why is he excluded?also Nehra was doing better Don't mention Munaf. Rkt's blood pressure will rise. :giggle:
