someone Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 A great win, truly showed why they are a "team" as there is always somebody to rely on. Some points to still ponder. Rahane's form- he has started slowly and really got out early trying to slog then. Yagnik's role- other than 1 cameo, he has done nothing of note. Are there better in-form batsman in RR reserves? Sachin? Menaria? Lack of spinners (other than Pravin Tambe)- especially for Eden Gardens now. Harmeet Singh looked very poor and lazy in his one game Also, another interesting point is see that the death overs is bowled by their foreigners and it works well. Imo, Indian bowlers have looked poor at death bowling and thus foreigners seems the best bet.

vvvslaxman Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Hope they get to final :rr: . Even if they don't no shame.. They had a fabulous season despite the presence of fixers in their side.

Ram Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 This team is literally IMPOSSIBLE to dislike. :dontknow: Their captain is Mr. Impeccable, their team is a primarily comprised of honest, blue-collar guys who get very little attention otherwise. Unlike some of the other franchizes, they don’t rig their home pitches to be a specific type to suit their strengths and above all, they play the game the right way. And despite all this, the fixers were from this team. #TheWorldIsWeird

TheWall Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 guess if RR win the cup, there will be some respect left for IPL...
