Let's keep rain out of the equation now, the other 4 scenarios-- 1) Aus & Ind win: Both Aus & Ind go through 2) Aus & SA win: Aus go through and the team with highest NRR of the three(Ind/Pak/SA) go through. 3) Pak & Ind win: 3 teams(Aus/Ind/Pak) will have equal points, NRR decides the 2 semi finalists. 4) Pak & SA win: Aus & Pak go through.

Best Power hitters - Windies Best consistent power hitters - Aussies

It is because they are not power hitters all the time. Some of the shots they played (especially Hussey against SA) were just effortlessly timed sixes. On the other hand, WI relies more on muscle power and big heave of the hands. Aus have very good timers of the ball (In fact, even Watson can play elegant straight drives for sixes like in the IPL)

This is a legitimate tactic. Ranatunga refusing to play because of bad light when he was losing (for those of us who are old enough to remember).. now THAT is against the spirit of the game. This particular action by Sri Lanka aims to dispel any problems for them without really affecting others... I am more concerned with ICCs STUPID rules about overage and players' behavior etc.. and the penalty it imposes. ICC needs to be stripped off some of it's powers.
