Ram
Good on ya KKR fans, enjoy your time! :nice: As a nation, we have enough problems to deal with already. If KKR's win gave the people of Kolkata to come out and celebrate, we should welcome that opportunity. Especially happy to see Shakib there celebrating. He is one of the most under-celebrated elite performer I have seen. As a CSK fan, going into the last over, I knew that as long as Shakib was there, KKR was going to win it. And its even better for Shakib because of the cultural/language ties that B'deshis have with Bengal P.S; Only Sour point - The omnipresence of SRK. I am sure he put his heart and soul into making this team and has a heavy vested interest in them, but at the end of the day, this is the players' win, not the team owner's win. I was very upset to see SRK took more than half of Set Max's post match interviews coverage when he rambled on uncontrollably.

Crookbond
Shah Rukh Khan is 'cruel', say Kolkatans as he fails to turn up for roadshow http://www.dnaindia.com/sport/report_shah-rukh-khan-is-cruel-say-kolkatans-as-he-fails-to-turn-up-for-roadshow_1695221 Some cursed him, others called him "cruel". Even the presence of IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) players could not take away the disappointment of thousands who braved the scorching sun for hours only to find Bollywood star and team co-owner Shah Rukh missing from the KKR victory parade. "He is so cruel to be not present. We bunked our classes and have been standing in the sun for over two hours to see him. We are disappointed to say the least," a college student said, speaking for his group. Khan surfaced outside the state secretariat where Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee came to felicitate the team. He hugged the chief minister, and held aloft the Indian Premier League champions trophy. Earlier, thousands thronged the Ashutosh Mukherjee Road to witness the victory parade of KKR though most of them had come to see the badshah of Bollywood. Local councilors had put up a stage at the Jadubabu Bazar, south of the city, to felicitate the KKR players and Khan but his absence of took away all their enthusiasm. To add up their woe a part of the stage collapsed causing minor injuries to a few. As the police did not allow the convoy to stop, the councilors threw the flower bouquets towards the players. The Knights led by skipper Gautam Gambhir waved frantically atop a trailer "It is a consolation to see Gambhir and his team. We had come here to see Shah Rukh. We now feel like fools after braving the sun for so long," said a teenager who had been chanting the cinestar's name in anticipation.

Yes the lad is def. underrate but here in BD he means what SRT means, or used to mean to u guys. Who cares, this guy has been topping the World Rankings for allrounder for 3 years and after topping the Test allrounder list and his performance in Asia Cup he has shown why he is the best allrounder at the world. If sakib had played for DCs, he wudve won them a lot of matches, providing some strength to a struggling middle order and a class spinner who can bowl 2-3 times better in the depth despite being a spinner as he showed in the playoffs. MMW, his batting is as useful as that of albie morkel and when as a spinner better than vettori
