gattaca Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Yeddy, Anyone? Campaign time every one speaks the same. But we have to see how Gujarat was before and after him. May be some people here from Gujarat can enlighten us.
diga Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 shivraj singh chouhan to campaign for Modi in Varanasi
diga Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 With Lok Sabha elections drawing to a close next week and poll predictions favouring Narendra Modi as the next Prime Minister, the clamour for chief ministership in Gujarat has already begun with senior state minister Nitin Patel saying that he is ready to take up the job if the party extends him an opportunity. There are many others in the race including senior minister Anandi Patel, UP BJP in charge Amit Shah who is also a MLA from Gujarat, another minister Saurabh Patel and party leader Purshottam Rupala for the chief minister's post.
Yoda-esque Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Think it will be US style presidential election... Modi Vs Others in almost all the constituencies
surajmal Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 There are many others in the race including senior minister Anandi Patel' date=' UP BJP in charge [b']Amit Shah who is also a MLA from Gujarat, another minister Saurabh Patel and party leader Purshottam Rupala for the chief minister's post. Changing the status quo is fraught with danger. So, Amit Shah needs to stay back in the centre as Modi will need someone to watch his back at all times.
diga Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Think it will be US style presidential election... Modi Vs Others in almost all the constituencies not hard to call .. anybody could have predicted it. Now only if the candidates in their respective constituencies do their work while all the attention is focussed on Modi, BJP would be in a much better position
surajmal Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 CPI ready to support Mamta to keep Modi out. Right, no modi wave. http://www.ndtv.com/elections/article/election-2014/to-keep-narendra-modi-out-can-tie-up-with-mamata-banerjee-says-left-leader-518877 All the criminals of the country are uniting to stop ONE man, but we should fear him.
Desi Cartman Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 In this Amethi speech, Modi didn't just go after Rahul and Sonia, he tore into the entire Nehru parivar starting from Nehru. It seems Modi has a personal vendatta against the Nehru legacy. It's getting down to what real jan sangh has been saying for decades, they finally can say it at a stage as big but I have grown up hearing Sangh's theories and stories. Needless to say, Rajiv was the worst PM India ever had, IG was almost a dictator... They changed their names to sound like MDKG.

Khalpat Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 worse then Manmohan' date=' VP Singh, HD Devgowda, IK gujral etc ?[/quote'] VP Singh, Devegowda and Gujral were PM for very less time. So the fight is mainly between Manmohan and Rajeev. I will go with Rajeev for few of the major blunders like : 1.. Opening of Ram Mandir 2. Shahbano case blunder 3. Sending Indian army to kill its own people in Srilanka 4. Complete mismanagement in Kashmir, Pandits were driven out during his reign 5. Bofors was the starting point of corruption at highest level 6. Economic shambles 7. Punjab millitancy went into worst stage. compared to this Manmohan's was not that bad.

Tiger80 Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 :hatsoff::hatsoff: to Modi , just saw his interview on India news. He just sleep for 3-4 hours
Desi Cartman Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 worse then Manmohan' date=' VP Singh, HD Devgowda, IK gujral etc ?[/quote'] Oh yea. He failed at so many fronts but his biggest blunders were Kashmir, ignoring what pakis were doing wrt to building nukes and corruption. He also did the shahbano kand which wasn't really needed. Whatever decision he took, the country is still paying for it. MMS is a different case as I still don't understand why people voted for him the last time. He had no vision or enthusiasm but he still won. Rajiv won because people voted out of emotion but why MMS won is beyond me.

MMS reaped the benefits of NDA govt's economic policies and reforms in the first term projecting them as the result of UPA I. Having LKA as the PM candidate did not help either.
ravishingravi Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 :hatsoff::hatsoff: to Modi , just saw his interview on India news. He just sleep for 3-4 hours I think his energy is truly remarkable. No words. You can see it in his eyes. As elderly people would say " tappa hua aadmi hai". Also someone who is yogi.
randomGuy Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Priyanka says he does low class politics, the janamjaat harami brings up his (low) caste for SC/ST votes...:cantstop:

Hypocrisy galore :finger:
