ravishingravi Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 that is disingeneous bec modi vs rahul, congress vs bjp is not just a secular vs hindu superiorists contest. Corruption, economic plan, foreign policy...all facyor in. plenty of anti bjp ppl voted bjp this cycle coz of anti-dynasty semtiments and very poor corruption record of congress over last 2 governments. Its more a triumph of bjps no bs business approach, giving them a chance to b less corrupt and anti dynasty srntiments winning despite fears of bjps fascistic religious tendencies. Sent from my GT-S5830D using Tapatalk 2 Sent from my GT-S5830D using Tapatalk 2 Can't say you are entirely wrong. But you have to understand that congress were not ruling for 60 years on the back if impeccable performances. This term was not very different. There is fundamental narrative in Indian politics and it wouldn't be wrong if RG said that congress is or was natural party for India. This obsession with poor ( not poverty), inclusion ( if there is growth ), secularism and of course gandhi parivaar. Numbers don't lie. Congress and anyone associated with it has been decimated. India has sent a message. I can't recall this kind if unanimous message against the traditional narrative.
someone Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Sign of Modi’s style: Officers asked for view on big projects “We were told to put down candid reasons for the delay in execution of projects. Between the lines, I could sense that cabsec (cabinet secretary) was asking us to put on paper the real reasons why many flagship infrastructure programmes are crawling. I would say much of it is due to fatigue in decision making, and the fear of being prosecuted,” a senior secretary in an infrastructure ministry said. Another secretary who has been asked to prepare a report, said, “I have been asked to write what difference it might make if, as secretary, I am given a free hand.” The cabinet secretary’s instruction, this officer said, “can only mean that the incoming Prime Minister wants results. “He (Modi) is essentially asking us to address our concerns to him, and he would find the answers. But at the end of the day, we have to deliver,” the officer said. http://indianexpress.com/article/india/politics/sign-of-modis-style-officers-asked-for-view-on-big-projects/ So it's already started, and a very good thing. The worst thing about our system is poor implementation which has often cost us.

bulbul Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Miffed over the large number of newly elected MPs, seeking ministerial berths, waiting to meet him at Gujarat Bhavan, where he is currently residing in New Delhi, Modi has reportedly told NDA party leaders not to ask for cabinet berths. "Modi reportedly ticked off a delegation of BJP MPs from Karnataka, led by BS Yeddyurappa and Ananth Kumar that they should stop angling for ministries and instead work to strengthen the party in their state," NDTV reported on its website. :cantstop:

surajmal Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 abhigyan jha @undercoverpro 20h Since the #SlaveDynasty of Kutubuddin started ruling #India from #Delhi - it has been under the influence of either slaves or dynasties. abhigyan jha @undercoverpro 21h To break the #Lutyens culture of #Delhi - perhaps Modi should build a new #Capital of #India as one of his 100 new cities.

bulbul Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 What about the backlash from Indian Secular Left? Subbu Swamy will take care of it.
FischerTal Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Before I used to think Modi should go after Dagwood, but now I think getting to Dawood is an impractical task . He is probably hidden in some remote place on af-pak border where forget us, even Americans would have difficulty getting to.
Khalpat Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Some history can be witnessed in the parliament today. This man is genius with the orator skill.
Khalpat Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Dawood is beyond the reach of passive India. Has he been provided presidential security like Srilankan team or the security is arranged by ISI like Osama?
ganeshran Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Dawood is beyond the reach of passive India. Nothing is beyond the reach of NaRambo Modi. Wait for a cross border strike in the coming months :isalute:

Love how suddenly you guys are framing criticism of "our elected PM" as a non-patriotic act. :cantstop: It's almost as if the last 10 years didn't exist.
