thongale Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 that makes sense but seriously Raina?Oops, got mixed up with Gambhir and Raina.
thongale Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 What about Zaheer? Can't recall 'nasty rascal' type thing about him.Has been a **** ever since early 2000s. Never learnt to be level headed as Kapil or Srinath, who were fierce competitors but never had silly antics in front of the camera.
Yoda-esque Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Has been a **** ever since early 2000s. Never learnt to be level headed as Kapil or Srinath' date=' who were fierce competitors but never had silly antics in front of the camera.[/quote'] Huh..Zak has pretty much the right attitude. If at all , it was Srinath who was too much of a gentleman.
vamos_rafa Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Huh..Zak has pretty much the right attitude. If at all ' date=' it was Srinath who was too much of a gentleman.[/quote'] Yeah Zak has the right amount of aggro. does not go all out at swearing at batsmen and is not at all jealous or of the whining category.
vamos_rafa Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 and as for Kohli, don't you know he's taking lessons from our Captain cool so as to tame his aggression. Then you all can start liking him.
Old guy Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Has been a **** ever since early 2000s. Never learnt to be level headed as Kapil or Srinath' date=' who were fierce competitors but never had silly antics in front of the camera.[/quote'] dude all fast bowlers are like that :\ atleast good ones .. thts how u get into head of batsman search video of steyn sledging against micheal clarke its epic :D
GautiMaan Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 well gauti, virat and zak they should keep playing to win and i dont think our guys have ever crossed the line other than the occasional over enthusiastic appeal. What sanga and dilshan did to viru was disgraceful and was pure spite and whinga displayed the same quality again.dont know how such a guy can be liked even by his own country men
Old guy Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Yeah Zak has the right amount of aggro. does not go all out at swearing at batsmen and is not at all jealous or of the whining category. sreesanth is better :--D ok jokes aside i think our sri lankan frnd will like yadav he seems to be gentle phast bowler and also morne morkel

Gambhir can't take defeat easily but I doubt he'll ever do what Sanga and Dilshan did.
Ultimate_Game Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Times are changing guys. You Indians also like to have that nasty rascal in your team who could wind up opposition. Mosy SL fans just don't like Kohli, Raina, Sreesanth, Harbhajan, Zaheer etc who act like *****s. We love the attitude of Sachin, Dravid and for strange reason Ganguly as well. But the Aussie attitude is creeping in to the SC teams as well. There will be *****s, whingers, dicks, cocks and ****s in Asian teams as well. And strangely, we are starting to like our lot as well. Attitude is one thing, cheating and whinging is another. Winding up opposition and getting up their @$$ in one, but to cheat in an under-handed manner and taking shots off the field is a different ball game altogether. Pls enlighten us which of our players has done the following... 1. Which Indian player cheated at the toss by changing his call after finding out the match ref didn't hear him like Sanga? 2. Which Indian player has gone on whinging about SL's or any other team's ranking at any point the way Sanga did even though SL has hardly done anything of note away in their history? 3. Which Indian player has denied an opposition a milestone/landmark by bowling a no-ball the way Randiv did after being encouraged to do so by Sanga & Dilshan? That was so below the belt it was unbelievable. 4. Which Indian player has actually tried to act "holier than thou" even after it's our players' fault the way Lady Jaya acted after Thririmanne attempted run-out and his recall by Indians when Thirimanne was backing by 2-3 feet? Instead of lauding the Indians for upholding the spirit of cricket Lady Jaya went on how he wouldn't have done such a thing? Yeah right! The guys who can cheat at the toss and deny an opponent a 100 will not try to run out a batsman who was backing up by 3 feet despite warnings! :haha: Kohli and Gambhir may rile up an opponent but they will not cheat. They may have a word or two on the field with opponents but won't act all sanctimonious and "holier than thou" after the game. As for Raina on the list I don't even know why you brought his name up coz he has been one of the guys who hardly even stirs up anything on the field. The difference between likes of Gambhie/Kohli/Harbhajan etc. is that they do it on the field and not off it and don't really cheat to get an unfair advantage the way Lankans do and likes of Sanga, Dilshan and Jayawardene head the list. Maybe you are confusing sledging with cheating :haha:

Prakat Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Yeah. What's up with Raina hate? We keep worrying that he might one day run into the ground and take a blinder when the opposition is fielding.
