Name the players that *excel* in all three formats

Actually the thread title says players who "excel" not "may have excelled". I agree with you though - Had T20 come earlier he may have mastered it as well. Currently' date=' he's a damn good player but I don't think he "excels" in that format or he hasn't aced it like Tests or ODIs for that matter.[/quote'] He hasn't excelled it by his standards but he has done it by the world standards. Sachin is a class apart in the longer formats so it would be unfair to measure him by those. Or would be fair? I don't know :nervous:

Considering he hasn't played much T20 it would be unfair to bring him into the picture IMO.

True. I think it's a little dumb to gauge one by the IPL performances. Not that IT20 is any better but it's a little more reasonable competition.

Steyn does not excel at ODI cricket- EPO of 5+ and average of 28- only played 60-odd ODIs too Not sure how youre defining 'excel' here, but Gayle does not really EXCEL as a test bat
