Not sure how cocky some supporters are here. Sure we have an upper hand given the conditions but this team will ave two young batsman. Our no 6 , Raina has to be replaced. We don't have a great spin attack. English bowlers will enjoy the reverse swing. To be honest, I have a feeling we might have the worst summer at home.

Im an England supporter and even I dont think we will win in India, the conditions are completly foreign to our players, we might aswell be playing beach cricket. England players ARE decent players of spin in English conditions, look how well we played Narine etc but away from home no way. Our pace attack did brilliantly in UAE and Sri Lanka but they look tired now and have gone of the boil a bit. The only chance we have it to hope its a road of a pitch, bat first and bat long and then hope the pitch crumbles.

I think England would need about 3 months of preparation in the sub continent to have a chance. Cook and Trott would need to fire and they have been really poor this year so far.

I think Indians are being too cocky. There is hardly anything in this Indian side to fear. Gambhir ;- will be worked out by Finn. Sehwag :- even as FTB will at best be a nuisance value Pujara :- prospect but newo the ame Tendulkar :- lesser said the better Kohli :- great talent but again new to test cricket No 6 :- don't know. Dhoni :- woeful in test cricket Zaheer :- fitness is a major issue Yadav :- I have high hopes from him. Ashwin :- will not send shivers down any decent barsman's spine Ojha :- good challenge in Indian conditions

This makes sense for away but not for home. For example Dhoni is not "woeful" at home and averages 38 in Tests at no. 7 :facepalm:
