@ KhanSaab and Roshan, Whether or not Blake really can bowl as fast as he claims is besides the point. What he said is quite disrespectful, more so, because his comments target people who are masters at the game. Zaheer Khan was the top wicket taker in the WC last year. The spearhead of our bowling attack. Sachin, well, is Sachin. The best cricketer of all times. IMO these comments are in poor taste and very disrespectful. If it is a publicity stunt, it is a bad one. He needs to change his PR team ASAP. A relevant analogy would be Muhammad Ali commenting after knocking out Frazier " Oh I always loved chess more than boxing. In fact I can beat Bobby Fisher blindfolded" Having said all this, I would still like to see him in the IPL. :D West Indians are crowd favourites here.

It is not the least disrespectful..he said his dream is to get sachin..he wants to get his wicket because it is SACHIN. It is actually a back handed compliment. And ya he is much fitter than our fat ass fast bowlers..he did not say he bowls better than them..he said he bowls faster...he praises ishant... looking at his olympian fitness..I tend to believe him.

Just in case - running between the wickets is not about being the "fastest" but judging the run too. Also 22 yard dashes with turns are very different than 100/200m races. The most important difference is "judging" the run - one or twos etc. Just being the fastest won't help. MS Dhoni rules the roost on the judging of the run.
