vishalvirsingh Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Agree.. Also the situation is not good for UV as we need him in ODIs as he's at his best in that format. The current situation unnecessarily puts him under pressure and makes it hard for him to have confidence going.. He could be under tremendous pressure to 'prove' that he's 'back'... as it's evident (in this topic only) people don't find much difference (due to their ignorance) between T20 and ODI formats.. I AGREE- UV needs more rest...........I pray he suceeds.
Number Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Yuvraj gets into groove facing 'throwdowns' for an hour http://www.sify.com/sports/yuvraj-gets-into-groove-facing-throwdowns-for-an-hour-news-cricket-mjsrzojidfg.html In 75 minutes, he faced at least 200 'throwdowns' from Penney and even Dhoni applauded the effort put in by the stylish left-hander "He is shaping up really well. It's all about putting up a fight. I believe one shouldn't think about the past and there are lot of uncertainty about the future. But it's about putting up a fight on the day," said Dhoni. The captain felt his most dangerous T20 player is getting better with each passing day.
rkt.india Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Yuvraj gets into groove facing 'throwdowns' for an hour http://www.sify.com/sports/yuvraj-gets-into-groove-facing-throwdowns-for-an-hour-news-cricket-mjsrzojidfg.html Instead, he should have run, run, and run. There is no problem in his batting but running is, no stamina.
vvvslaxman Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Yeat battingwise he is so natural. Pretty instinctive. He wouldn't have lost any of his ability. Just that his overall body movement has taken a hit.
Needforspeed Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Instead' date=' he should have run, run, and run. There is no problem in his batting but running is, no stamina.[/quote'] Spot on. Exactly what I wanted to post.

BeautifulGame Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 fixed. :giggle: Thats because he is indebted to DHoni. Its Dhoni who selects him when everyone wants him dropped before every major tournament.
G_B_ Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 unfit but still performing I think he should bat at 5 though and Rohit should move upto 4.
