Both B grade actors, Aamir just happened to be born in an era where the number of pseudo intellectual fools to be influenced by his supposed "acting" has grown exponentially.

Not many people can pull off Anand and Sholay or Kabhi Kabhi where he wasnt the main character.. Another thing is that he can act with his expressions.. songs like 'tere mere milan ki raina' or 'pagh ghungro bandh' or sholay where he didnt have many dailogues are witness to that.. My only grudge against him is that recently he is been taking cr@ppy roles in last 4-5 years.. he should retire now.. Aamir is a good actor but not as varsatile..
Number Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 Aamir is not the best even in his generation as an actor. SRK and Ajay are easily better actors. His choice of movies(except a few like Man, Mela) and their subject has been good throughout his career and it improved further in recent years.

Its basically like us in Tamil industry trying to compare Rajini and Surya.Too big a gulf imo

He is a terrific actor, though not nearly as versatile as AB and for that reason not as good.
