moniker Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 In which ground do you need tickets to watch Ranji matches? :hmmm: Er.. Not all ranji matches are free, though I agree most of them are. For certain matches if tickets need to be bought it is advertised. I read somewhere in cricinfo that in one of the recent ranji matches that included test stars tickets weren't available from the 2nd day but the stadium was empty. That's what made me think the same system exists for tests as well and led me into posting that (stupid) first post.

I am not talking the dust bowl of Mumbai in 04, decent turner. Spin is our strength, so take the home court advantage. If you want to excel, come in with good spinners like Eng have done so far.

Spinning wickets is fine but captain cool got it wrong in bounce... His own batting and captaincy being shyte is another matter...
NareshK Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 These are the kind of pitches which make test matches as boring as they can be. The pitch is already slow and low and batsmen have to struggle to score runs and there is no real help for bowlers either.

Then do not watch it.A hard fought draw is more exciting than wins and winning in last few minutes of a session is most exciting.
