Sachin shouldn't play, he just doesn't deserve to be selected. Get one more offie in and drop Ashwin if he hasn't sorted out his temperament. Ishant shouldn't be there.

ShebbySB Posted January 20, 2013 Posted January 20, 2013 Ishant Sharma is not good enough to represent India in any formats let alone tests.He should play 1 season of county cricket & come back only when he gets his rhythm back.He's not in rhythm that's why he's bowling in early to mid 130's. Plus he's inconsistent with his line & length,bowls a loose one every over & lacks the pace nowadays to get away with that.Ishant without pace is worse than Sreesanth without pace coz at least Sreesanth can swing it away in mid 130's & 140+ once in a blue moon.We should have played Awana in place of Ishant in this series.At least for the last 2 matches.

Tendulkar will play the entire series 4. Ashwin and Ishant will hold their places for at least the first two states 5. Jaddu may continue to play now that he has done well with the ball 6. Bhajji most likely to replace Chawla in the 15 after taking 6 wickets in Ranji semis 7. If Umesh is not fit, Zaheer will comeback to the side So except for Chawla going out and Bhajji coming in, I am expecting no change.

Wasn't kicked out after all manner of defeats in the last year and a half, an ODI defeat to England won't result in anything either. Not to mention, his batting is holding up.

He relies only on variations and not testing line and length and flight. So if batsmen pick him like English batsmen in the recent test series and also Aussie batsmen have shown they do in ODIs and T20s, he will be as easy to play as Raina or Yuvraj. So who are you going to pick as a spinner other than Ojha ?
