namasteji1 Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Yes, i agree, atleast in t20's after so many debacles they could have tried a young captain. Amarnath's statements were true indeed after all.
urbestfriend Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 why LOL? Dhoni belongs to t-20 and ODI , and rightfully he should be our captain.

rkt.india Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Vinay Kumar replaces injured Balaji in T20I team Injury concerns continued to rattle India with Lakshmipathy Balaji ruled out of the upcoming T20I series against England with a stress injury on right big toe. The BCCI has announced that Karnataka seamer, R Vinay Kumar will take his place in the squad. "L Balaji has suffered a stress injury to his right big toe, and has been ruled out of the T20 International series against England, as a result," BCCI Secretary Sanjay Jagdale said in a statement. "The All-India Senior Selection Committee has picked R Vinay Kumar as his replacement in the Indian team," he added. Balaji was a part of the unsuccessful T20 World Cup campaign of India in Sri Lanka and was in the middle of a good domestic season. Vinay has also had a good time in the domestic circuit with 17 wickets from 4 matches. This is the second injury concern for the hosts after Manoj Tiwary was ruled out for six weeks following a muscle tear which is likely to sideline him for at least six weeks. He is currently undergoing treatment at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore. The first of the two T20Is between India and England will be played at the Subroto Roy stadium in Pune on 20th December. http://www.cricbuzz.com/cricket-news/53726/vinay-kumar-replaces-injured-balaji-in-t20i-team/?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=news&utm_campaign=gadget Legend is back and how!
