Rishi Dhawan....how good is he?

Roger binny was a bowling All rounder like Rishi dhawan. Stuart fatso is a batting all rounder. Kapil was also more a bowler than a batsman. We need a bowling All rounder a medium pacer first...Rishi may fit the bill he should have gone to Australia.

Again this year he is among top wicket takers. At this moment 39 wickets at average of 22.25 in 7 matches. Can't be a good option to Struat Binny ? I think Rishi better bowler than him

The bowling is at par or probabaly worse & BK is a better batsmen than him . Hes taking wickets in Group C . Cant believe on one hand the guys who mock binny want this guy in the team :hatsoff:

Rishi is a better option than ravindra jadeja or axar. we are keeping binny in australia. rohit dhawan kohli rahane raina dhoni binny dhawan axar/jadeja - 1 out of these 2 players shami umesh

the selectors blocked rishi becoz he is a threat to binny. but we could have had both in the team. iam very impressed with binny. almost robin singh like, with better batting technique. we can use this guy for next 3-4 years easily.

He always performs,whenever he get oppurtunity.Yesterday he took 4 wicket haul & today scored a useful 26 ,batting at no 9.

Robin Singh is the epitome of mediocrity. Garbage player. Stuart Binny is a MUCH MUCH MUCH better player than Robin Singh in both bowling and batting. Dunno about Rishi Dhawan but I have seen him seam the ball around in IPL.

Actually, his domestic record suggests the opposite. My impression of him is that he's a bowling allrounder with some swing and bowls in the low 130s - I feel that he is better suited to longer spells and Test fielding setups, rather than ODIs where he can be easily milked for singles and a few 4s. His batting is not very aggressive (not a lower order basher in ODIs) and would be suited for Tests at 7 or 8.

Binny has less than 2 wkts per match in FC while Dhawan has around 4.5; in terms of bowling there is statistically no comparison. Binny is the somewhat better bat though.

Give him a go for few matches I think he can be a very useful allrounder His lack of agility will go against him

Dhawan is also very early in his career & Binny started bowling only in the last 3-4 years of his career

Yes, he is a true medium pacer and can only slot in as a batting allrounder in the test team. So he needs to bat higher for his state team and prove his worth as a batsman. Else he can be played only in place of Binny in ODIs.
