A player with an average of 31.00 is a failure after just playing a few ODI's splattered over more than half a decade?Wow our standards are real high. 88 ODI's over 7 years is not an extended run...despite that playing in the later middle order in the end of a ODI game without being a regular fixture is not as worst as people make it out to be. Give him 15 straight matches and then make the desicion...Has he under-fulfilled his potential-Yes......Is he a total wash out-Hell No. Has he made his Test debut yet-Don't think so. Is he our best T20 player-Hands down yes. So on what basis are people making it seem like Rohit is a total failure....This is pure bias and not cool
In the last 12 months RGS has played 8 ODI innings and averaged a solid 13.0 He is fat, he is lazy, he seems to have issues.. and he seems to be doing something outside the stadium that seems to be getting him chances in ODI again and again. True he is a good IPL slogger.. but he is simply not worth keeping in ODI or any other international tournament... certainly not over players like pujara. It's crazy that someone like Pujara who averages over 65 over a dozen test matches is not given a chance over this idiot.

In that sense a lot of the 2007 T20 world cup team have failed to become team india regulars in the limited overs. Uttappa (out of the team in all formats) R Sharma (failed in ODIs is ok in T20s) D Kartick (hope he seals his spot now but has failed to date) Yusuf Pathan (not even in the T20 picture) Irfan Pathan (test appearances are over, fringe player of ODIs and T20s) RP Singh (became fat and a failure) Sreesanth (facing multiple years in fail even though he was part of the WC winning side in 2011) Joginder (was never heard from again. though to be fair not many people expected him to) Chawla (used as a lucky token whose luck was worn out last WC) Dont think India gained a young sensation who was a central part of team from that WC. Granted the likes of Sehwag Yuvi, MSD, Gambhir and Bhajji were in their 20s. But they were sort of established making the debut or marks in the Ganguly era. In the Dhoni era in the limited overs its been Kohli and Raina. In the tests it probably will be Pujara and Kohli.
Raina had been there for over a year before Dhoni became the captain. Only men to have really made a mark in Dhoni era are Yadav, BK and Kohli.

told you i will be here when he does well and be happy :)
I find it funny how Rohit ran Kohli out and stole his sureshot Man-of-the-Series Award by scoring a 200. Kohli will be very drunk tonight and shower MC-BC-CCs over Rohit.
