Cevno Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Reminded me of this from Faking news - :hysterical: Indian batting to continue being **** till Sachin’s son debuts Mumbai. BCCI has confirmed that Indian batting will continue to be in bad shape until after Arjun Tendulkar, son of Sachin Tendulkar, makes his ODI debut. “We want to recreate the same situation that was prevailing when Sachin Tendulkar made his debut and hope to find another great batsman in Arjun Tendulkar,” BCCI chief N Srinivasan disclosed the grand plan for revival of Indian cricket. Srinivasan told Faking News that the board might drop a couple of players here and there and experiment with captaincy but the ultimate goal is to mostly indulge in timepass till Sachin’s son debuts. “It is not like we would be doing nothing at all till Arjun grows up,” Srinivasan said, “We’d be organizing world class IPLs, selector meetings, and sponsorship deals.” It should be noted that Arjun Tendulkar is currently 14 years old, while Sachin had made his debut when he was 16 years old. “Yes, you can safely assume that Indian batting would continue being *****y for another couple of years, say till the next ODI world cup,” an expert claimed. Sources suggest that the current Indian team too has welcomed the plan, with Rohit Sharma promising to follow the BCCI’s strategy to the toe. “Even Ravindra Jadeja is trying to become an all-rounder like Ravi Shastri so that we can recreate the Indian team of late 80’s and early 90’s,” informed Rohit Sharma, dropped from the team and thus available to talk to us. http://www.fakingnews.com/2013/01/indian-batting-to-continue-being-****-till-sachins-son-debuts/
Cevno Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Reputation based selection just like his father currently. Yeah, not like his father averages 94 in Ranji and has made 2 centuries in 2 domestic matches. Anyway, have you seen him play ?
rkt.india Posted January 11, 2013 Author Posted January 11, 2013 People should let Arjun enjoy game: Sachin Tendulkar Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun was among those picked for Mumbai's u-14 squad on Sunday. The 15-member squad will travel to Ahmedabad for the January 20 to February 1 West Zone tournament. Arjun, 13, had made his mark in local tournaments with his all-round skills. The left-hander has proved to be useful middle-order batsman and an effective medium pacer. Arjun's knock of 124 in the local tournament had a big role to play in the teenager making the cut. Tendulkar Sr tried to play down his son's big break by saying Arjun needs to left alone. "Like any other parent I feel extremely happy & proud that he is part of Mumbai U-14 team. His hard work has paid off. I hope that people leave him alone to enjoy this beautiful game as a normal member of the team," Tendulkar told The Indian Express. Squad: Akash Savla, Darshan Padare, Vaishnav Narvekar, Tanush Kotian, Arjun Tendulkar, Azim Shaikh, Omkar Rahate, Abhishek Shetty, Agni Chopra, Druv Vedak, Hashir Dafedar, Manas Raikar, Jay Dave, Jahangir Ansari, Yash Joshi. http://www.indianexpress.com/news/people-should-let-arjun-enjoy-game-sachin-tendulkar/1057729/

Swing_n_Speed Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Sachin's speaking coach is a kaamchor. :(( Makes him repeat the same words for every occasion. :(( :hysterical::hysterical: But Sachin is right here. Leave his son alone and let's see what happens. If he shines good for him, if not then well at-least he tried.

King Tendulkar Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Sounds like his selction was dodgy. Like some other selctions. We know this happens but still sad to read about it. Classic like all aspects in India, its who your family is and who you know. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/cricket/top-stories/Arjun-Tendulkars-selection-in-U-14-raises-questions-of-nepotism/articleshow/18002036.cms
