But, just because it worked it does not become good. Also, just because it doesn't work a move doesn't become bad - it works both ways. I am not denying he doesn't go on instinct but I am fair enough in criticizing them as well. The final of WT20 is a wrong example, because the only other option he had was Harbhajan Singh and Misbah was picking Bhajji beautifully and carting him for sixes at will. So please spare the analogies. but it was bad captaincy to be left with these two options.Pathan was bowling well,so should hv been saved for last over.Jogi should have bowled out earlier. fair enough though,I thought it was a bad move too :P

I have a problem when people use the magic wand of hindsight to prove their point when the person who made that decision did not have it - that's being unfair IMO.

Even if you go by on day perfomance BK was going for under 6 an over while Ishant and Vinnay going for 8. Brain dead captaincy, Also BK is superb with new ball and less so with old ball. BK was superb with new ball again , yet took him off. What was point of taking him off when bowling well with new cherry, to save overs with BK which were never used anyway. Dumb captaincy

How will your bowlers learn if you keep bailing them out every single time? Dhoni has gone bonkers. We need to see if Shami can bowl at the death and one over will not be sufficient.
