Detonator Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 My Country, great or not great. If great, to be kept great; and if not, to be set great. - Detonator/Schurz

EnterTheVoid Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I was in South Korea last month, can safely say, it is the most awesome country I have lived/visited. Basically, - Cheap food - Cheap alcohol - Cheap accommodation - Cheap transport - Cheap internet They are decades ahead of everyone else in terms of technology. There are giant screens everywhere you go, on the sides of buildings, in underground subways, in malls etc. Some pictures I took: In terms of fast food, they don't reheat something that was cooked three weeks ago, they make it fresh right in front of you:
hhunaeh Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 ^^ I hear south korea is very class and beauty conscious. I keep reading articles in the western media about south korean plastic surgeries. How true is that? The closest i have been to anything south korea are the dramas i have watched on hulu and viki. I try to read up articles on south korea in the news media. One of these days i'll visit a korean restaurant and try kimchi.

beetle Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Must say iam disappointed with some of the opinions' date=' care to ask ur self what the people of those countries have done to improve their country, [b']all we say is that Delhi is the crime capital , but somebody has done crime, Delhi or India didn't go to hurt somebody or rape somebody , it was someone , we read in newspaper that 1 dollar= 53 odd rs,1pound= 80odd rs 1kuwaiti dinar= 170 odd rs,is not an evaluation of currency, for me it's effort of 1 American person in development of USA =effort of 53 odd Indians in development of India , same with u.k , same with Kuwait or any other country. A country is about it's people. The country without it's people is just real estate...Every one contributes to what makes a country....the great, the good ,the bad and the ugly. You can't select the good and ignore the bad and vice versa....
