This looks ok to me considering the squad we have. Only if Vijay could go back to his pre-IPL game. Ashwin, Bhajji and Bhuvi can all bat, so we are not losing much by not picking #6 batsman.

G_B_ Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 I may be tempted to play Dinda ahead of bhuvi if the pitch is flat.......and play ashiwin ojha ishant......if the pitch conditions give some hope for pacers I wud play bhuvi else Dinda I wud play rahane ahead of jadeja as jaddu is a ODI bowler and ojha is far better than him...... If pitch spins than ojha and ashwin will win it for us ...I am Not convinced that bhajji is in form He was not bowling himself Much in domestic matches- if he ws confident he wud have bowled a lot.......he seems to be A restrictive bowler now a days......ashwin is better, I feel cook screwed up ashwin, I am scared of watson as he bats well against spinners. actually jadeja has a better average in the ranjis than ojha and a better economy.

Jadeja has a better average because of his better economy. Ojha has a better strike rate and is a better turner of the ball than Jadeja. Ojha is far more likely imo to get a 5-for than Jadeja.

Sehwag is kinda sure to hit a century with new specs in this test in atleast one of the innings. Note my prediction....... Also Note one more point- Australian fast bowlers will kinda Screw our batters......only sehwag and Pujara have chances to suceed- why........ One guy has very strong defensive technique and the other thinks he is a king On chennai dead wickets and has very strong attacking technique.......his eye issue is also resolved.

Wow, it seems as if Sehwag was batting with one eye like Pataudi and now he has been operated and got two eyes :giggle:
