He hasn't allowed it to affect his temperament. True, he hasn't played any nimwitted shots, really applied himself. What stuns me when I watch Vijay is the amount of time he has, very rarely hurried. He is fortunate to be picked, but if hes willing to do the grind and stake his claim then all the best to him!!!

We have to stop mindlessly being obsessive about overseas performance at this point. First be happy we have someone who perform well at home. Even that went missing with Viru and Gambhir form. It is as if we have tons of alternatives who will reel of centuries in SA and England.

It is as if we have tons of alternatives who will reel of centuries in SA and England. yes you stole my words so to say, we are not that good now as to worry about or benchmark on overseas performances..We are more like pakistan/nz now struggling to have enough bat to put at home or any condition, and should welcome these two guys at least they can do it at home.

Anyone who watches a decent amount of TN will know that.He never lost anything due to Ipl as some kept on insisting. His real problem is scoring tough away conditions . So his real test will be in SA and NZL
