FischerTal Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Lambu has spells in test cricket. This is first class cricket. Watch his 10-fer at Barbados in 2011. What did he do in England and Australia? gha*** Pankaj is miles better than that ovehyped "unlucky" sharma
rkt.india Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 What did he do in England and Australia? gha*** Pankaj is miles better than that ovehyped "unlucky" sharma Remember his spell at lords with no support?
MCcricket Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 Pankaj Singh is Indias best fast bowler, on form and the way he has been bowling for last one year, he also has a fantastic record, he is far better then Ishant and all the PK AND VK'S, even a strong pace oriented side like SA England would have him in their team, what a travesty, it is because of RCA AND BCCI panga.
FischerTal Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Remember his spell at lords with no support? yes, i also remember he took a grand total of 11 wickets at an average of 60 in england and in 4 test matches in Australia, he took only 5 wickets and gave away 451 runs. All hail the speed demon :haha:

Vanarp22 Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Pankaj singh is unfortunate not to be in CSK. The most consistent bowler over the last four Ranji seasons. I remember this one Saffa fast bowler in the 90s who had great potential but was picked very late in his career and therefore had no impact. Pankaj will be a replica of him. I forgot his name though? :(( Henry Williams?
G_B_ Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 not seen too much of him to be honest will keep an eye out for him in the ipl and i hope he does well. In India it seems IPL does matter when it comes to selections
MCcricket Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 He is a proper test bowler, bowls long spells and has stamina, aggression now and also pace and movement, he is not a T20 OR odi SPECIALIST HE IS A GOOD TEST BOWLER, BOWLS THE CHANNEL, CAN MOVE THE BALL OF THE SEAM BOTH WAYS AND HITS THE DECK AND GETS BOUNCE AND MAKES SUBTLE CHANGES IN ANGLE AND LENGTH ALSO NOW HAS A GOOD SHORT ONE, ALSO TRIES TO BOWL YORERS NOW AS PRINGLE HAS WORKED MIRACLES WITH HIM AND a CHAUDHURY AND SHOULD BE OUR NEXT BOWLING COACH ALSO HAS GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF DOMESTIC TALENT
MCcricket Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 Roger Telemachus Of Sa And Henry Williams ?

Wonder how he will do against accomplished international batsmen with this length.

MCcricket Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 Just feel it, also is frustrating to see a good potential Indian player being wasted because of BCCI and selectors.
fineleg Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 What does Pankaj Singh need to do to get selected by BCCI? Why is he being ignored till now?
