What's with this flood of Rajinikanth avatars - he isn't even a Madraasi. In cricket you pick up Raina and Dhoni from UP and Bihar and in movies you pick up Rajinikanth from Maharashtra whereas Madraas actually produces Mooli, Bradmanath, and Jayalalitha.

Becomes difficult to keep track of things in some far flung remote corner of the country, but got this from Wiki:
Jayalalithaa, was born into a Tamil family on 24 February 1948, at Melukote, in Pandavapura taluk of Mandya district, Mysore State (now Karnataka).

So how about you shut your mouth(keyboard?) about things that are related to such remote places. Either you talk and own it or keep quiet. You can't have it both ways.

Looks to me that you guys are denying Jayalalitha's proud Madraasi lineage, roots and heritage because you don't want to be associated with her but would rather associate yourself with imports like Dhoni, Raina, and Rajini. Is that how you treat your fellow Madraasis - friendship and association of convenience? :hmmm:
