Lord Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 His bowling does not suit T20. He should stay away from it for the time being. It can easily ruin him. They already have Chavan and Chandila as domestic spinners. he did well in U19 WC on unhelpful tracks.I think he'll be okay.specially against PWI.
someone Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 Harmeet Singh looked very very average. He didn't seem to have the accuracy nor the mind to play well. Looked out of sorts today really. And some rated him as the best Indian spinner, Ojha/Jadeja are 10x times better than him.

Bhajji can learn a thing or too Will be much better in ODIs and tests with experience.

He had a extremely bad games. And he didn't even seem to earn from his mistakes, continued some poor lengths. Simple case, you might be impressed just because of his "young" age. But I am judging in terms of talent and comparison with other spinners, and he failed in that. BTW, Bhaji is one of the best spinners in IPL, you got to admit that .

His super-slow deliveries has an element of drama and can pawn players who are average at playing spin. An out-of-form Taylor looked a bit troubled.

Umesh should have an easy work load as he is coming back from injury. Varun Aaron underwent back surgery in Jan or Feb. He was ruled out of IPL at IPL Auction in Feb. He is out for at least 6-8 months. Right now in Bengalore, preparing for his TY BCom exams. Our injury management isn't really good. He had suffered injury in May last year but decision of surgery was taken 6-7 months later that time could have been saved if he had got better medical intervention early.

That's my idea as well. He looked lazy and lacked any thinking. Seems like a Panaser type bowling where you need to guide him literally. And there are many other SLA whom are better than him, he is way behind in the list.
