Vanarp22 Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Other good knocks this year are Kohli 46 n.o., Vohra 45 n.o. and Vihari 44 n.o.
Small_town_boy Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Dhoni's knock was amazing ...under pressure he did well... Second would be Gayle's 92...
gaurav92 Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Dhoni's knock - others were no where near the pressure in which he was. Dhoni's knock was amazing ...under pressure he did well... Second would be Gayle's 92... Actually to be honest, Dhoni was not under pressure when he was hitting it, he was playing as he had nothing to lose. The real pressure was in the couple of overs where he almost came close to winning it. I am taking nothing away from his knock, it was a marvelous innings but it was not an innings under pressure as such :nice:
BeautifulGame Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Actually to be honest' date=' Dhoni was not under pressure when he was hitting it, he was playing as he had nothing to lose. I am taking nothing away from his knock, it was a marvelous innings but it was not an innings under pressure as such :nice:[/quote'] Nothing to lose at that stage is the mentality of losers. Until Dhoni got out in the last over it was 50/50 only. So there was always huge pressure on Dhoni. If there was no pressure why do u think Polloard fretted out bowling the 18th over to Dhoni
Debutant Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Dhoni's knock was amazing. Had that not for massive Pollard, he would have won the match certainly. Gayle's was very good too considering he alone scored all the runs.
Detonator Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Where is Dravid's 65* against Delhi :hitler: 1. Dhoni 2. Pollard 3. Dravid
Vanarp22 Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 it was 65 not 65* and pollard's knock wasn't that good. 1. Gayle 2. Dhoni 3. Dravid
I6MTW Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Morgan's knock should be considered. He played well when KKR were regularly and, I mean regularly losing wickets every 2 overs. He almost pulled the win for them and he got a brilliant fifty.
dibyabttb Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Karthik's is by far the best till now. Didn't let the pressure overpower his batting even after the fall of 2 big wickets in first few overs. Played with confidence in his new-found form. BTW can someone explain how Kartik who was unable to clear boundaries till last year is hitting sixes effortlessly this time around? Performance enhancing drugs?

Didn't he hit 3 or 4 sixes off Mendis in one over in the inaugural Champions league? He can always clear boundaries. Never had issues.
vvvslaxman Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 Two more great innings today with two great support innings.
