philcric Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 You want Jadeja to be dropped' date=' he is the best ICC ranked Indian bowler [/quote'] You don't need so many spinning options in English conditions. Yuvi is a good SLA bowler in ODIs, so Jadeja misses out.

trundlerNO1 Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Jadeja>>>Ashwin as a batsman as well, so it gives him clear edge over Ashwin
Hell Raiser Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Shikhar dhawan Dinesh karthik( Pujara if selected) Virat Yuvraj Raina Dhoni Ashwin Pathan Bk Ishant Yadav
trundlerNO1 Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Today game shows that his batting is so valuable, he can't possibly be dropped He be my first player in my list after Kohli and Dhoni
G_B_ Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 all the people saying Shikar dhawan, is the dude going to be fit and most importantly in form in time? If he played the next sunrisers matches he has 4 matches to prove his current form and fitness before the 6th may deadline. In the IPL so far Rahane (avergaing 52 with a strike rate of 109) and Gambhir (ave 43 with strike rate of 130) are the only two openers who have done well in the list of 30 probables. Dhawan (not played) Murali Vijay (averages 20 with a strike rate of 98) Chand (failed) have not done well. Stick with Rahane and Gambhir to give a right hand left hand combo. I dont think dhawan has ever played in the united kingdom. Rahane has had some experience opening the innings there. If Rahane or Gambhir fail in the champions trophy then have Rohit in the squad and open with him. For me its a risk taking Dhawan considering that he is returning after a long lay off. Unless he scores a century or something in the IPL i would not take him.
Gunner Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 My Bowling attack: Yadav Shami Bhuvnesh Ishant / Mishra Jadeja
G_B_ Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 My Bowling attack: Yadav Shami Bhuvnesh Ishant / Mishra Jadeja no Ashwin? I would have ashwin in my playing 11 thats for sure. His batting down the order will be handy.
Number Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Mishra ji is too fat for Indian colors. Makes Ashwin look like Ussain Bolt.
Sooda Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Gambhir Rahane Kohli Yuvi Dhoni Raina Pathan Ashwin Bhuvan Shami Ishant Reserves- Umesh, Jaddu, Rohit, DK Would go with that! Jadeja will defo play though, so we could go with two spinners and maybe no Ishant, which wont be too bad.. give us a long batting line up
Rocky Balboa Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 If Irfan does well and bowls 135+, he would be an added bonus.
Detonator Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 My XI Dhawan Vijay Pujara Virat Rahane Dhoni Jadeja Ashwin Bhuvaneshwar Ishant Yadav
Austin 3:!6 Posted April 22, 2013 Author Posted April 22, 2013 My XI Dhawan Vijay Pujara Virat Rahane Dhoni Jadeja Ashwin Bhuvaneshwar Ishant Yadav So no Raina, Gambhir, Yuvi. Playing 3 openers. Tell me you are joking.
Junyfan Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 1) England look favourite to win trophy. 2) South Africa 3) Pak/Aus/India.
Austin 3:!6 Posted April 22, 2013 Author Posted April 22, 2013 1) England look favourite to win trophy. 2) South Africa 3) Pak/Aus/India. South Africa will win Champions Trophy...handsdown.
trundlerNO1 Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 SA and Eng are two real favourite to win CT Our batting is not as strong as it was in WC2011 plus our bowling is even weaker
Texan Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 Gambhir Rohit Sharma Kohli Yuvraj MSD Raina Jadeja Ashwin BK PK Umesh -- Reserves: Kedar Jadhav Mishra Shami Ahmed Rahane / Dhawan
rkt.india Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 My dream of Kumar trio bowling for India in tandem will be fulfilled this Champions Trophy.
FischerTal Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 BK and umesh will definitely lead pace attack. 3rd seamer up for grabs. ashwin will be spinner. dhoni wicketkeeper. batting is the problem, i want che bhai to open with gambo, but its unlikely. rat bhaiyaa will be 3rd, along with yuvi and suresh at 4 and 5, although im still not convinced with yuvi. 6th spot will be battle between DK, Tailunt, rayudu, etc

The all Kumar attack. He does not like wayward bowlers like Umesh, but accurate bowlers who can move the ball.
