gattaca Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 ^^ no Thank you ambati rayudu or rahane should be in. Dont understand y bambies are after rohit when you have rahane.
G_B_ Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Agree. His technique is just not good enough at international level and he cannot rotate the strike to save his life. And why the comparison with Raina who is not test standard anyway? If the Nohit fans think he is so good then compare him with Pujara and the silence will be deafening as the contrast in abilities and temperament is embarrassing. how do you compare Rohit to Pujara when Rohit has not even played a match? There will be silence, but only because people will be shocked by your question. I would love to know how you would compare Pujara to Rohit when Pujara has not played any limited overs cricket and Rohit has not even played any test cricket. For that matter Pujara has not even played much IPL for the comparison?
Laaloo Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 austin :giggle: What the hell is up with these soccer players? biting people, hitting referees, pulling down underpants?
Crookbond Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 What the hell is up with these soccer players? biting people' date=' hitting referees, [b']pulling down underpants? He just pulled down his pants - what are you imagining? :hmmm:
maniac Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Rohit is already an IPL Legend.....Only Gayle or probably Malinga have had more match winning peroformances than him
vvvslaxman Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 Rohit is already an IPL Legend.....Only Gayle or probably Malinga have had more match winning peroformances than him That's all he is. An IPL legend :cantstop:.
maniac Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 That's all he is. An IPL legend :cantstop:. TBF ODI is the only format he has struggled....he is one of our leading scoreres across all T20 WC's....
vvvslaxman Posted April 25, 2013 Posted April 25, 2013 TBF ODI is the only format he has struggled....he is one of our leading scoreres across all T20 WC's.... Probably his skills are limited to T20 where there is not much attacking field or too much time to think about constructing an innings.

Rotating the strike,Quick singles are the most important aspect of ODI cricket....The likes of Gary Kirsten,Javed Minadad 2 of the most boring batsmen have had great ODI careers where as someone like Sehwag has had a mediocre average. Rohit is tailor made for Test Cricket where he has only 2 options attack or defend, similar to T20

He misses the ball even if there is slight deviation and plays down the wrong line.
rkt.india Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 There lies my problem with Rohit. He doesn't exactly have a great defense. He misses the ball even if there is slight deviation and plays down the wrong line. This. PS: His problem is he plays too upright and does not bend his knees enough and quickly when defending the ball on front foot. He always has problem with full pitched straight deliveries as he is slow in coming down. This is the reason what makes him a very good puller or hooker.
Austin 3:!6 Posted April 27, 2013 Posted April 27, 2013 Rohit has no problem in his technique...haters gonna hate.:winky:
