What would've happened to the minority community in that country? And look at Britain, so far no revenge casualty. There is strong case to suggest that they bent over for the radicals. Far too many apologists led by likes of Galloway. Europe's USP is its democracy and freedom. It's always gotta be either muslims in most cases or occasionally christians.. this is what happens when you don't allow people to watch porn/ get laid and they have to take out their frustrations.

There is certain fabric of society which is based on stronger and more broader ideal. Idea that you are different to me and therefore by implication I should respect or your faith you is the problem. Battle has to be of ideas. Multiculturalism implies a certain implicit respect I need to give to somebody merely because he is different. Hence, I have no issues when France lays down ban on Burkha while there is a conflict even in that decision. Nation has to protect its fabric. Stronger idea is freedom for women, not subjugation by keeping them in bee keeper suit. I am sure you would agree.

Forced racial and ethnic diversity is a "progressive" idea, and is opposed by conservatives. The only incident I can think off was the Air India bombing in Canada done by some Sikh extremists but even that was aimed at the Indian government, which I fully condemn due to the innocent lives lost.
