King Porus of cricketing battle - Rahul I was drenched with such overwhelming respect for you during the MI and RR Qualifier match and whole league to be precise that I really forgot that I am die heart Mumbai fan and was really feeling honored watching your legend on the field. Few gems of it to mention was your appreciation of classical cover drive, your signature shot, by Smith , genuine applause for harbhajan on the presentation, handling emotions during smiths misbehaving with your bowlers and during misfields on crucial periods by your team mates, your speech and lively smile on post match ceremony and above all the way you have approached the whole spot fixing dilemma within the team. Your calm and cool attitude is really a something to learn from you for some of our young cricketers and many more through out tournament. You are real Idol for every present and future cricket enthusiast who just love the game of cricket and who are really hurt by the recent fixing scams in this beautiful game. It was real delight and privilege to watch you along with my son beside - you the genius - the Porus - the conqueror of all hearts who could never be defeated .... Never. I told him ...Oh son ... PORUS couldn't be defeated on the battlefields at Hyduspus river and even couldn't be defeated at cricket fields. They will always make Alexanders feel and return empty. They the King poruses who were overshadowed by likes of Alexanders but the real conquerors the gladiators of their own professions, devotions and emotions. A man who stood up countless time for his team. A wall, almost hard to shattered. And oh, a moment a fellow cricket fan would like to share with you guys, When shahadat was in top form(in a test series in 2010), he bowled a bouncer that damaged RD's jaw. Shahadat said that he enjoyed getting through his defenses. Ever since that day, Shahadat turned from what was a quality aggressive fast bowler, to a royal grunting trundler :haha:
