deathmonger Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 VJ Dhawan Kohli Raina DK Dhoni Jaddu Ashwin Irfan Bhuvi Yadav You can also play Ishant in place of Irfan but having this lineup means we have a tail of only one - Yadav
Lord Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 I'd agree with that only I'd have DK n Dhoni above Raina but Ishant will play now
maniac Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Rohit,Dhawan,Kohli,Karthik,Raina,Dhoni,Pathan,Jaddu,Ashwin,Umesh,Ishant
vvvslaxman Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 M Vijay or Rohit S Dhawan V Kohli Raina KKD Dhoni Jadeja Ashwin Bhuvan Umesh Ishant Tail is pretty long.. but this is what they will go with. Vijay or Rohit If Vijay plays KKD will stay in the MO If Rohit plays KKD will be sacrificed at the top order which is a dumb move
JaFanatic Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 team for the SA MATCH vj dhawan virat kkd raina ms sir jaddu vinay bhuvi umesh ishant vinay and ishant are in better form than irfan and dont think we need two spinners for this game :P
vvvslaxman Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 team for the SA MATCH vj dhawan virat kkd raina ms sir jaddu vinay bhuvi umesh ishant vinay and ishant are in better form than irfan and dont think we need two spinners for this game :P You might as well go with 10 players :giggle:
JaFanatic Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 team for the SA MATCH vj dhawan virat kkd raina ms sir jaddu vinay bhuvi umesh ishant vinay and ishant are in better form than irfan and dont think we need two spinners for this game :P i've changed my mind :hmmmm2: we should play ashwin in place of vinay kumar
yoda Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Likely XI: VJ, Dhawan, Kohli, Raina, DK, MSD, Sir, Ash, Bhuvi, Yadav, Ishant
Swing_n_Speed Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 VJ Dhawan Kohli Raina DK Dhoni Jaddu Ashwin Irfan Bhuvi Yadav You can also play Ishant in place of Irfan but having this lineup means we have a tail of only one - Yadav Looks good to me.That said DK should be given a run. It shouldn't seem like Rohit is breathing down his neck.
cowboysfan Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Likely XI: VJ, Dhawan, Kohli, Raina, DK, MSD, Sir, Ash, Bhuvi, Yadav, Ishant make that guaranteed lineup.
G_B_ Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 can we please make KKD bat at number 4? Raina inside the first 15 overs is going to be a pain to watch. keep raina at number 6. That is his real aukad.
yoda Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 ^Dhoni is stubborn. The only lineup change possible is him coming ahead of everyone if we have lost very few wickets and have just around 10 overs to go.
FischerTal Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Likely XI Vijay/Rohit Dhawan Kohli Raina KKDK Dhoni Sir Jadeja Ashwin Pisshant Bhuvi Yadav
CG Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Rohit Dhawan Kohli Karthik Dhoni Raina Jadeja Ashwin Bhuvi Ishant Yadav
zumi Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 What a ****-up by selectors to pick both of Murli and Rohit Sharma despite having poor ODI performances. I would drop both, they have so miserably poor and go for: Dhawan, Irfan, Kohli, Raina, Dinesh, Dhoni, Jaddu, Ashwin, Kumar, Ishant, Yadav. Currently dropping both Rohit and Murli will cost us an opener, and no point bringing Dinesh to open. So might as well gamble with Irfan to open and get the bonus of his bowling. It's stop gap solution becoz of selection miscalculation of having both Murli and Rohit failing (as if anyone didn't see that coming).
jf1gp_1 Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Likely XI: VJ, Dhawan, Kohli, Raina, DK, MSD, Sir, Ash, Bhuvi, Yadav, Ishant This will be the team; Pathan/VK/mishra didnt get get a single over today; that more or less settles any bowling combination debate. Opening with rohit or pushing kartik up the order to accommodate rohit will only happen if one of Vijay or dhawan are injured. The only thing missing is a power hitter at 7.
