Lord Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Well if you want vijay dropped fine. But to bring crapthan in to replace him as opener is insane and is were you start to lose it those are our only options in the squad :dontknow: I am only talking in that perspective Pujara would hv been perfect but stupid selectors ignored him :wall:
maniac Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 We can open with Ashwin and Crapthan!! Jai Hind Might add Bhuvan at No 3...He is supposed to be a steady bat at FC...who knows could be our new Rahul Dravid with the added qualification of being a new ball bowler....Ash-Laxman,Bhuvan-Rd,Pathan-Dada :two_thumbs_up:
I6MTW Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 sounds like a test opener.:giggle: which is why he is successful in tests and poor in t20's. Odi is a cross between tests and t20's.
Lord Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 TBF Warmups dont count unless you want to count his IPL performance what has he done in ODI format ever? he also wastes balls
maniac Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 what has he done in ODI format ever? he also wastes balls I mean when you brought him in the squad give him a run...He did surprise everyone in tests...who knows might do well in ODI's....Needs an extended run...cant keep chopping and changing players after 1-2 games....have already seen careers pegged back when there was no specific role assigned for a specific player

SLICKR392 Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 KT logic at its very best. :hatsoff: Arguing and bashing over something that has got nothing to do with the actual context of the debate.
Austin 3:!6 Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 I will be on the ground tomorrow for the match. Lets go team India

zumi Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 i would play Irfan Pathan ahead of tried and trusted failures Murli Vijay and Rohit Sharma. And would let Pathan open. What use is a specialist batsmen when they average single digits.
tweaker Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Shikhar Dhawan Rohit Sharma Virat Kohli Dinesh Karthik Suresh Raina MS dhoni Ravindra Jadeja Irfan Pathan Bhuvaneshwar Kumar Ishant Sharma Umesh Yadav
ricky8741 Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 dhawan karthik kohli raina dhoni r sharma jadeja v kumar b kumar u yadav i sharma
Vilander Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 IK Pathan might do well here, he bats against pace well adn if conditions suit him will do well in bowling as well. But probably not as oepner, we should open with Murali and Dhawan. If Murali fails again get Rohit in.
Jersey #10 Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Dhawan Rohit Kohli Karthik Dhoni Raina Sir Ashwin Bhuvan Umesh Ishant
