King Tendulkar Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Putting aside things like fielding and batting. Who is our best out and out spinner?
saneindian Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Has to be Ashwin if he is focused fully on off spin and not trying too many variations. Jadeja has started well but remains to be seen how well he does on relatively flatter tracks.
King Tendulkar Posted June 18, 2013 Author Posted June 18, 2013 I have gone for Ashwin. But it could be Sir Jadeja:--D The next year will reveal all!
Divvy Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Title should be, who is the most promising spinner for tests
IKnowU Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Ojha has been consistent every phecking series, but always overlooked :headshake:
Gunner Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Mishra - turns the ball the most, and is a Wrist spinner with an attacking mindset. A wicket-taking Leg Spin bowler is a must in a spin-based Test bowling attack like ours.
JaFanatic Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 ashwin's wickets per match avg is next only muthiah muralidharan :hatsoff:
JaFanatic Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 who voted for mishra ahead of ashwin and jadeja
Tendulkar_Bhai Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Who voted for Jadega!? In tests you need more in the bag than just "bowling a tight line". Ashwin head and shoulders followed by Bhaji
rkt.india Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I am not sure how effective Ashwin will be outside SC.
adi B Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 I am not sure how effective Ashwin will be outside SC. this..based on england series i have picked ojha although SIR might outclass them in SC
Lord Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 this..based on england series i have picked ojha although bhikhari might outclass them in SC c'mon dont use such words
I6MTW Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Jadeja if he performs on flat and seam/swing pacy wickets then He will def be our no 1 spinner in all formats no question then.
Sean Bradley Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 All our spinners are too young and inexperienced at test level, too early to comment, i would think that Ashwin and Jadeja would make for a deadly pair on indian wickets. Nothing to choose between the 2.
carnish Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 at present its ashwin ... soon it will be rasool :agree:
Gunner Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 who voted for mishra ahead of ashwin and jadeja  That would be me.
vvvslaxman Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Depends on oppositions, surfaces. Each will have success against specific teams. If you include ODIs as well some even say Jaddu is the best in the world let alone India which is not far from truth. Among the three Ashwin is still evolving. Thinking bowler. Sometimes overthinks.
