remember what happened after we called him back during the test series in england?they thrashed us and called us chicken

It was a 50-50 call that generally goes with the batsmen, but if England couldn't win when they needed 20 off 16 balls with 6 wkts in hand, there's no guarantee they would have won with Bell given not out either. Plus England had similar decision go their way against NZ when Broad got a wkt off a no-ball. Without that call going in their favor, England wouldn't even have reached semis, but you don't see anyone complaining about that call!

This is the same Bruce Oxenford who did not give Symonds out stumped of Anil Kumble at Sydney in 2008 while he was clearly out. Symonds went on to play a match winning innings in that test.

It was not out in my view. Umpires need to give the benefit of doubt always to the batsman. We would have been livid had something like this happened with our team.
