vvvslaxman Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 He clearly is devoid of any additional skills. His line and length suits certain surfaces where he can be deadly. Otherwise a d grade version of Srinath.
NareshK Posted June 24, 2013 Author Posted June 24, 2013 We saw what he did last time :giggle: 7 @48 Mohd Irfan test average 67. :hysterical:
panther Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Mohd Irfan test average 67. :hysterical: Mohd irfan 2 test matches, ishant 50.
NareshK Posted June 24, 2013 Author Posted June 24, 2013 Mohd irfan 2 test matches' date=' ishant 50.[/quote'] He will be dead if he plays another test. Poor guy cant finish bowling a 2 over spell in an ODI. :hysterical:
KFC_Zinger Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 averaging 38 in tests :giggle: only sami is worse than him I knew someone will show me the stats.... if stats tell me that he has bowled well this year then the only plausible reason is that he has got cheap wickets..... Yesterday his figs were 4 - 0- 36 - 2, it looks ok in a T20 but this guy actually single handedly was going to lose the match for us... I though it might get over by the time Jaddu came... His tests stats are aweful but i would play him in tests over ODI's anyday as he might get a wicket or two there and will not most probably lose me the match alone.... Overall i woulf like him to be benched and told to work hard, get the ball to move out... right now he comes and bowls short and wide....
asterix Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 ChewtiyaKant is a Brainless village level overhyped bowler...
KFC_Zinger Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 ChewtiyaKant is a Brainless village level overhyped bowler... I agree
G_B_ Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Two points (A) Jadeja's economy rate of 3.5 is remarkable. Especially considering he has bowled a huge % of his overs in the power plays. (B) As a result of Ashwin/Jadeja bowling in the power plays Ishant has not had to bowl many of his overs in the powerplay. Yet his economy is the highest in that list. Its fair to say Ishant was lucky with those wickets. Bopara especially would have been called a wide had he not gone for a shot above his head. He was the most expensive bowler in the final despite not bowling any of his overs in the powerplays..... India have a choice to make, either ishant or umesh. Both are expensive bowlers and we cant afford to carry both of them
India-KXIP fan Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 ^How was Morgan's wicket luck? It was a slower delivery and he clearly played too early, popped up a simple catch. That is intelligent bowling.

rkt.india Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 just shows how misleading stats can be Even McClenghan's and McLaren's stats are misleading. They too have taken a lot of wickets like Ishant has taken with one one of good performance like Ishant had against SL and in ODI series against England. ODIs are like that.

ODIs are like that. sri lanka was his only good game other than that he has been pure lucky and was losing us the final on his own . same thing against south africa..this guy is the bowler who was easiest to hit on this otugh track in final and in the end just england choked and that kiwi bowler actually did many things right like bowling correct length at death so he got the rewards ishant was awful at death his two wides in final were embarrassing and classic example how awful he is .

He had bowled well against England as well and one game against Pakistan. Mcclengan has also been a very similar bowler.

zakk Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 it was a poor shot playing a ball way outside off into the leg side? thats just poor shot selection imo. so you wanted umpire to give him not out :hysterical:
deathmonger Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 We saw what he did last time :giggle: 7 @48 Better than Junaid/Mohd Irfan in SA. Pakistani fast bowling died in the 2003 WC match when Sachin killed it. After watching the two W's and Chucktar being massacred Pakis lost it all.
King Tendulkar Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 it was a poor shot playing a ball way outside off into the leg side? thats just poor shot selection imo. To be fair good line to morgan as morgan has been worked out. Bowl wide of off stump and tries to drag everything over. Ishant bowled it wide and he dragged it over, good planning. Ball before tried plan but got it to wide. Saying that ishant was poor generally
hassan_113 Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 ishant>>meat eater junaid SIR>>>>the chucker paki bowlers totally pwned :hysterical: How exactly is that related to the thread? At least the lads have some runs to defend when they go out there or they know they have class batsmen!
