jalebi_bhai Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Being good friends with Sallu, even Shoaib suffers from the 'bhai' syndrome......
Asim Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Yousuf was the best talent Pakistan ever produced. Yes...better than Inzi' date=' not sure about Miandad and others as I never saw them batting live on TV.[/quote'] I'd say technically and if we talk about batting skills & 'class' etc Yousuf was better than Inzi but being a 'Player' if we talk about mental level, absorbing the pressure, handling the 'situations' n all that etc etc Inzi was easily ahead of Yousuf or probably the best ever from Pak...
Asim Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Looks like Misbah's ODI time would be over very soon... coming 3 match ODI series can play some decisive role... at least for his ODI captaincy...
FischerTal Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Pakistani cricket today is just a continuous repeat of Tahir shah's famous song "eye to eye " Just plain torture Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ravishingravi Posted November 13, 2013 Author Posted November 13, 2013 Being good friends with Sallu' date=' even Shoaib suffers from the 'bhai' syndrome......[/quote'] Spot on
vvvslaxman Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 We shall send Ishant and Vinay to your team. Dinda a bonus. They will help opposition pile up 300 plus runs consistently. You will get used to chasing 300 regularly.. then it will become a habit lol. Jokes apart i don't know why Pakistan stacking their line up with so many bowlers. If i were captain i would go in with 7 full time batsman including Hafeez then afridi, ajmal, junaid, irfan as bowlers. Hafeez at no.7. Afridi at no.8. They don't have real talent. So they just have to use their resources judiciously.
bsriharsha Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 A guy who was a headless chicken as a captain...probably even worse than Misbah was is talking about tactics.... :hysterical: no disrespect to MoYo as a batsman , he's spot on about umar akmal and his talunt and even ironic is the attention ***** called Shoaib Akthar going on about being passionate for the team....especially when he used to limp out injured in every second game.
Asim Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Shoaib predicted Pak will win T20 2-Nill :cantstop:

Its a clown circus, they make BCCI look amazingly professional

Cricketics Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 When was this? I think it was around 2005. Kiran More and I think Bishan Singh Bedi used to come.
GoldenSun Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 I think it was around 2005. Kiran More and I think Bishan Singh Bedi used to come. Was it during that 4-2 ODI series loss to Pakistan? I'm sure BS Bedi would have blown his top. Other than smothering the Loins later that year, we didn't achieve exactly much in 2005.
Cricketics Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 I don't exactly remember, but it used to run for plenty of series.
Asim Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 I think at some stage it happens with every team... just depends what or how much effort they; the board, selectors, captain, players genuinely makes together and tries to come out of it... I guess they need to be worked out mentally more than anything else... I still believe except very few routine changes exactly the same Test, ODI and T20 squads are capable of winning vs any team anywhere...
Cricketics Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Wow. Just watching that clip with Shoaib Akhtar and Moyo talking. Shoaib is mentioning at 06:28 about how board took him and and Moyo out for youngsters saying "puri duniya padi hai. Bot youngsters pade hai." :) He was saying all of that by trying to mimic one of the pcb's selector accent.

Guys like Akmal, Hafeez and your latest sensation Maqsood is also not going to be great batsman. It is not due to PCB not trying same like BCCI/India has kept on trying to find fast bowlers. When PCB can find talent like Irfan out in vacuum or Amir don't you think it will find batsmen if there was any one there. PCB can only find players who are there, they cannot create talent.politics are everywhere but that is not holding things. Systems don't create talents like Wasim Akram. Hope the political turmoil does not wipe out the talent there cuz that would be real tragedy.

What the Pakistanis are missing are application and a strong mindset.
