Raghav_12 Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 this is not useless thread...u r sachin fan thats why u hate robin fan.. why don't you go and create a Sachin vs Robin comparison thread? Sachin has been compared with Tom,Dick and Harry then why not Robin. I am sure you'll get support for Robin from all usual suspects :winky:
skindia Posted July 22, 2013 Author Posted July 22, 2013 I just said he is in that category of srt fans who degrades all other players. Not all srt fans r like him
G_B_ Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Absolutely. Pujara should not be fielding at short leg but they make him field there all the time. If he's not there, then he's not allowed to take off his pads and runs around with those shin pads on. Che chasing balls in the outfield with his shin pads was a common sight in Eng and Aus tests, never ever seen such scenes anywhere else. Talking of Vaughan, maybe Che can start learning his cha cha cha or rock n roll to fix his knee problem. :--D :cantstop: I do believe he had to take injections to participate in that..... had a problem with his knees since he was 12. Agree on Pujara and short leg. Hopefully somebody else can do it.
Fontaine Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Look this is real simple. Pujara has excellent temperament along with very solid footwork. With a gimpy knee why would you expose a young cricketer to the rigors of limited overs cricket where his weak knees would be ground down to nothing and then affect his footwork as well?
Raghav_12 Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 I just said he is in that category of srt fans who degrades all other players. Not all srt fans r like him oh okay.. so nice of you. I am both SRT and Robin fan.

Rob9 Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 we have more players who suit the format better sitting in bench, so currently pujara can concentrate on the longer format.
putrevus Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Rohit Sharma is no given and we still don't know if Dhawan is just go thru a purple patch or is he for real. Given there will be two new balls being used now, I would like Pujara to open batting and long term take a call on his knees after 2015 world cup.It will be just cruel to sideline him from ODIs just to protect Indian test team. Pujara not going to world cup will be like not taking laxman for 2003 world cup and taking that chump Dinesh Mongia who had no business being there.
fineleg Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 This is just like VVS Laxman situation Pujara test career longevity will be affected by injury due to many odis. Maybe like SRT selectively play only key odis till wc2015 Keep pujara for tests mainly
putrevus Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 They need to get this guy Pujara away from short leg in tests they are killing the best batsmen in the team by making this guy field there and he needs to become a good slip catcher, he was awful in slips.
Bleed-Blue Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Pujara will definitely be needed in Aus for the 2015 WC
