That just tells you how much respect he still commands. Now if there is no media hype about that series then fair enough i concede you the point that he is a laughing stock. The BCCI are simply catering to a demand. Better make money from test 200 at home where they are the distribution rights in a special DVD which can be marketed. Than CSA.

nobody in Indian cricket averaged 55. Even 16 test wonder Kambli i think averages 54. Todays players Kallis and Sanga are the only ones who average more than Sachin.

No one is denying that the midget is worshipped blindly in India and on this forum. But it still does not discount what I said about his average and him being falling from grace.

Bradman's average is almost double the rest. He stood head and shoulders above his contemporaries. Can your man claim the same? If not, he is one of the modern day greats like so many others Kallis, Ponting, Lara, etc, not the greatest. By not even the skin of his teeth.
