GrandMasterSaxy Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Zimobs are without a bowling coach since last 6 months, so kudos to the bowlers Congratulations. Tendai Chatara is a good bowler, I kept backing him in my SS too :giggle: I knew he was a good bowler cause he went past the bat of Rohit Sharma TWICE in 3 balls!
saneindian Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Look at the gap between Zim and BD now Zim at no 9 with 34 points BD at 10 with 10 points ROFL Amazing achievement for Zim.

India-KXIP fan Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Chatara Yep good find for Zim, I saw he bowled decent against India but didn't get as many wickets. His figures were very good against Bangladesh and Pak though. They can be a decent side at home, certainly better team than Bangladesh atm.

Would be a good tri series between Bang-Ire-Zim.
G_B_ Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Zimbabwe will do well in Ireland. The seaming pitches will suit their style of play. The current Ireland team that is. Add Morgan and Rankin to their ranks and Ireland are much better than Zim. Its a shame really for international cricket. A full strength Zim and IReland are as good as Nz and Wi. Instead they have played defecting to England to play county or international cricket. In the case of Zim, its been happening for decades. The poor management of the board has now further contributed to it. In case of Ireland there was no cricketing basis to begin with
India-KXIP fan Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 5th test win for Zim against top sides which are 3 against Pakistan and 2 against India. One of these was in Pakistan.
randomGuy Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Chatara Chatara khatara pakiyon ka pichhwara lal kar mara.
Sajid_Rana Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Congrats Zimbabwe. Hopefully they can become more competitive and start beating top teams more regularly.
Haarkarjeetgaye Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Even though we lost to lowest ranked team but I still think Pak should continue with current team setup and really hope PCB management and selectors dont try any heroics with team/squad... We need nothing more than 2' date='3 minor (optional) changes in current Test squad...[/quote'] you are wrong my friend. taufeeq, umar akmal and amin need to come in...not really convinced with rehman as second spinner. i appreciate misbah as a batsman, but he has to be stripped of captaincy and play as a batsman only. younis or a new captain will help. congrats zimbabwe
Fontaine Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Bad Luck Misbah! But the team played better won! Congrats Zimbabwe...!!! Hope you continue such show unlike BD... Well done Zimbabwe, but feel sorry for Pakistan. They're a much better side than this and their frail batting has really let them down. If it wasn't for Misbah/Younis in this series Zimbabwe would probably have won 2-0.
jf1gp_1 Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 I watched highlight and i have to say Pak played poor cricket, credit to zim they did their part but pak lost the game than zim winning it

They did okay with their bowling. Batting flopped in both the innings. There is no telling what would have happened in the first test had Pakistan batted last.
