Its not the wickets that he takes but the way he crashed the stumps I think he is another Umesh type pAcer that we have who has the Potentialto ball full 6 balls 140+ in an over What do u guys say about him

CG Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Shukla is close to yadav.Shukla uses his wrist well whichgive shim the extra zip.I would like suyal,yadav,sukhla in a same game.Regarding averages he has good stats in loi and fc he has played 1st 11 matches.I think rkt posted his story which was inspiring.

This Guy is Special for Sure.......taking wickets when a batsman is aggressively chasing Runs in 19 over of a t 20 does not count as high as this.... RR had actually Won the game after that over from Shukla I believe all these balls were 140 with a bit of swing

Vk is like a Spin bowler Who wud bowl line n length n if a batsman goes behind him He wud get a wicket.....I don't enjoy those wickets When a bowler is trying to show how talented he is after being hit A near 6 and luckily a Good fielder has managed to catch that ball.... That's not a bowler wicket.....that's kinda a fielder"s wicket or the captain who put that fielder At that specific position...... A bowler shud be picked for higher levels when some genuine Pace criterion or some genuine Swing criterion is Met
vishalvirsingh Posted October 2, 2013 Author Posted October 2, 2013 I think he is not Regularly Super fast but some of his deliveries reach 145K So he has the Capability like Umesh N Varun to bowl super fast..... Super fast means 145K + for Indian fast bowlers.... Which can be achieved primarily by Umesh..... VaRun n Rahul can reach that mark once if they try very hard I believe Suyal is a bit slow....shukla does not Go for high energy bowling all six balls. He kinda Bowls average balls n suddenly shoots a super fast ball That becomes doubly dangerous.....

Shammi and VK are similiar bowlers and there Was no reason to pick both the bowlers, they Shud have chosen the better of the two that is shammi And the india super fast bowler Umesh shud have been Picked. I ws against unadkat but now unadkat has improved And can bowl 137 to 138K......so I m ok about him.

All these 3 bowlers r Different bowlers n kinda masters of what they do On guys swings big one bowls fast n one guy bounces big Some batsman didn't know how to handle bounce Some did find swing a challenge and some cud not handle Pace Why do the selectors need to break a Combi...even when all r FIT
rkt.india Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Shukla was pretty good yesterday and he was bowling within himself with control. He can crank it up even quicker. I think there is not much different among Yadav, Aaron, Shukla and Suyal. Though Yadav can be touch quicker but that is not make a huge difference if you are lacking control. Thing is even if you are bowling at 140-145, you will have to do the same things like a 130K bowler does and that is to bowl in right areas around off stump. Bar one ball on pads, Shukla was pretty decent yesterday with his control and at around 139-140K. I hope these performance will give him an idea how to take wickets in FC cricket. He needs to show domestic performances either List-A or 4-day.
