Even though i am a mumbai fan a big part of me wishes that RR win this to give Dravid the send off he deserves. Sachin has the world cup. It always bugged me how Dravid and Laxman retired. In the aftermath of a depression in Indian cricket. The bcci should have hosted Zimbabwe and given Dravid and Laxman the send of from the format that made them they deserved. When I think of Dravid best mmeories are. 1. vs Aus in 2001 Kolkata 2. vs Aus in 2003/04 Adelaide 3. Batting on 18 for about 90 minutes before getting a run to get to 19. He was a class player that India could rely on. He would bat at 3 and just was a top player. Indian cricket will miss him but he will be still in cricket in some other form. Everyone around the world love him and Laxman.

I remember watching him first in 1996 on tv playing singer cup odi series in Singapore.this was just after world cup . He got out for 0 in that ODI and quietly retreated to the tent like players area .how time flies ? I remember him most for hitting the winning runs while winning the Adelaide test in 2003 , epic partnership with lax man while winning 2001 Kolkata test and playing incredibly well as a batsman/wicketkeeper during the India's run to final of 2003 world cup in SA in pre-dhoni days.
