Rohit Sharma had similar problems and so did Sourav Ganguly in the beginning of his career. He skips dow the track and bowlers bowl a short one to cramp him for room, he needs to learn to swivel pull. One left hand batsman who I know did this quite brilliantly was Yuvraj Singh. He used to skip down giving the impression that he wants to create room, the bowler used to bowl short but Yuvraj used to just pull it over mid-wicket. He's in the team, might as well discuss with him and learn these tricks. Link to comment
