Sidhoni Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Voted No but after controlling hard, eventually did cry during the speech
SLICKR392 Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 How could one not atleast shed a tear or two after he touched the pitch and walked back weeping?
vvvslaxman Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 should have made poll public Millions of people have cried across the breath of the country so much so question has become irrelevant. Change the question to Are you not going to cry? an yes for that would be rare :) among the cricket fans.

carnish Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 No, I did not cry .. But his speech did touch my soul. It was straight out of his heart and into a billion hearts. Gotta say, the man was, is and will always be special. Adios.
Chandan Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Cried inconsolable since the last wicket fell and Sachin walked off the ground, wiping teard from his eyes till the lap of honour and through out the speech! Just can't imagine what test cricket will be like without Sachin! It will take a few days to get over from this emotional drain. Will always miss him, whenever I'll watch match from now on! Adios Legend!
gaurav92 Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I cried hard today while he was making his speech. And when he cried after he kissed the pitch with his eyes, tears flowed and slowly I started weeping like a child :(( We will miss you Sachin, you are GOD of Cricket Sachhhhiinnn, Sachhhhhhiinnnnn
zep1706 Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I didn't know before so I didn't vote, I didn't when he got out although I knew that it was the last time he batted, but today his speech made me cry. Goodbye.
Mandrake Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Sachins speech brought back an avalanche of memories.. It was hard to stop the tears. In a sense we all lived this dream with him.. Moment frozen in time. A player for the ages..
dial_100 Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 :hatsoff: It used to rain 4s n 6s. Today it rained tears. Good bye! !!!
goose Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Anjali crying was the trigger, she was fighting so hard to keep it together, just as i was but could no longer. Also the cameraman captured one guy in the stands chanting 'Sachin Sachin' but looking totally distraught barely managing to move his lips. That got me. Anyone see that?

Sachin got to me even before that. When he left the ground he was wiping his tears under his hat. That was the moment my eyes welled up with tears.
Debutant Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Boy was I wrong. I am still depressed. That farewell speech and touching the pitch will be itched in my memory for a very long time.
